Just a quick question. My dad got the 300mb package and asked me to do a speed test on it. Well the speed has improved significantly from the usual 20mbps to 60~90 mbps.

However im still annoyed it couldn't break 100mbps yet. Or at least achieving 50% of the claimed speed. Need taikors here for some advice on how to fix this.

I'm using

Router: dir850l
Btu: huawei hg8240h

Oh ya I'm doing the test via wireless speed test. Could this be the reason why I'm losing so much speed?

Anyone here changes the account name before ? Currently my unifi is under my dad's name , because it was registered when I am 17. Want to change to my name now. Is that possible and what is the procedure ? And might downgrading to the 100 mbps package.

I am currently on ancient VIP 10 (10MBPS) for RM149... with free channels.

I am thinking to change to 100mbps plan. 2 question.
- Will I get new set of BTU and TV BOX? should i request that first before change plan or after... the current one is very old and seems slowing down.
- Will i still be able to watch basic channel on my tv. Those TV1/2/3/etc

Does unifi VDSL user eligible for upgrade to new package 100mbps/rm129?

I switched from 30mbps RM139 package (under 2 years contract) to 30mbps RM79 today at Tm point. No penalty but contract refreshed 2 years started from today.

For those who want to downgrade, can just downgrade T0 30mbps since no quota now.

Ltr if they implement quota next year then can upgrade to 50 or 100mbps.

Then can save 200 bucks for better router.

Upgrade your wireless router, test with CAT5E and above cable and stand closer to router.

After some testing of 800mbps Turbo Upgrade:
1. Bufferbloat is non existence for download and 14ms worst case for upload
2. Torrent is indeed heavily throttled
3. MTU somehow stuck at 1480 even if I configured 1492

I have received unifi turbo (50mbps to 500 mbps) on 4 sep, and i check my speedtest using lan on PC, got 500mbps.

This week i try again speedtest using lan cable on PC, but can only get around 100mbps.

Is my unifi have been downgrade?

Have anyone experience same issue with mine?

what happen if there's no more port at my area?..wait until there;s more port? or is there any more proactive way to go around this?
