TS, kinda intrigued on what device did you use to hit the 800 Mbps mark. 
RB2011UAS? Can't even get past 300 Mbps on ethernet. Its wireless? Around 35Mbps.

Mine is RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN. Disabled the LCD and all, and while people recommends enabling fasttrack, I cant get it to works.

another thing is, the gigabit port on my mikrotik would stuck at 100mbps for some reason. do i need to disable the rest of the unused port?

i'm getting my 500mbps but as far i know none of this capable to make use of 500mbps speed on WiFI and only 1 router support gigabit lan

so should i invest on AC6X series or just get a gigabit switch

Hi, just want to ask. Currently using tenda c18. My bro connected his PC through LAN with CAT 5e wire. Package is 500mbps and my bro can achieved 500+mbps with no problem. The problem is, after some time, the speed test has been throttle at 80-90mbps (properties suddenly show link speed of 100mbps). the only fix for this is to move the wire to different port on the router and can achieved back the 500mbps speed. Anyone facing this?

Who still uses D-link 850L for turbo 800Mbps?
I think mine is bottle-necking and can only get max 300Mbps when direct download. Using cable of course.

Latest firmware 2.10TM.
Wifi, firewall, qos, and ipv6 are all turned off.
Direct download tested using IDM fetching from centos mirror, microsoft iso, and google drive.

The weird thing is, running speedtest is consistent at 840-850Mbps.
Torrent speed is also good at 600-700Mbps.

I tried plugging laptop directly to the ONU hg8240w and connect using windows pppoe. Yeah no problem getting full speed for direct download.
So definitely something is wrong with the 850L.

I'm confused why speedtest and torrents are fine, but normal http download was bottle-necked 

Have tried 8,16, and 32 connections. No difference.

Yes, that is unstable speed. Some time 600, some time 700, some time 750, some time drop back 650. I keep on complaint, now they only file in report and sent tech ppl to view.

I close all the apps, don't use handphone. Speed test a lot of times, some times 600, some times 500. some times 700, never get 800

I use IE, Chrome, firefox, Edge to test. Test at home

stock firmware sucks.

if your router has flash memory and the model is supported, try to flash custom firmware such as DD-WRT to bring out the best in your router.

Hi I'm new to this home networking thing. Usually I grab it from Unifi and that's it. My Archer C1200 recently went kaput and now I'm getting a 2nd-hand unit outside.

However it's provided by TIME Fiber. Can I still use it for my unifi connection or are there any incompatibilities (firmware, etc) that I should know of?
