Apple banned wifi scanner apps from the App Store a few years ago. So unless you're jailbroken, you're out of luck. Searching the iTunes App Store for "wifi scanner" gets you nowhere. Here's a little secret. Apple's own Airport Utility has WiFi Scanning capabilities. All you need to do is enable it in Settings. Let's hope they don't realise this and ban their own app. Or remove the wifi scanning capability. QUOTE(kentchow75 @ Feb 11 2016, 01:18 AM) What does wifi scanner do ? It scans and lists the wifi around you by strength and channel. One way to use the info is for finding the least used channels to use for your own wifi. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=What+does+wifi+scanner+doThis post has been edited by soonwai: Feb 11 2016, 02:25 AM

There's also Fing, which is still available in the App Store.

Unfortunately, ionStorm is right. I went and downloaded Fing but nope, no scanner. This post has been edited by soonwai: Feb 12 2016, 07:48 PM
