I order from them due to I miss out official Apple pre order time as I was in oversea and have limited internet access. Lazada, machine, mac studio all run out the stock in a second when 26-Oct launching day thru their online store and only Mac City state do have stock so that I quickly order but now macam kena tipu.  shakehead.gif
Now I reply and ask them when I can expect to receive the watch and let's see what is their reply.

Yea man. Kene conned dy. My mistake was to think I could get the watch from Lazada’s sale. Never even manage to add to cart.

and Maxis never say they support Apple Watch. I do know they support Huawei watch but as far as I know, someone posted before here that he went over to Maxis and asked them personally and the attendant replied that they are not supporting eSIM for Apple Watch.

I'm using AW3 stainless steel (i.e cellular) version bought from Singapore Apple Store since Feb this year; yeah... that AW3 eSIM won't work with Maxis. I doubt AW4 eSIM will work. Have to wait for official announcement from Maxis on AW4 /AW3 support for eSIM.

You both know right, Maxis eSim currently only supports Huawei Watch 2 or whatever but there are successful cases where people manage to use the eSim with their iPhone XS Max. Which already proved Maxis wrong in the 1st place.

So, unless one of you have an Apple Watch Series 4 Cellular and willing to get the eSim to try it out, don't assume it will not work until proven otherwise.

Last time also Maxis said no 4G for iPhone 5 but when announcement time, suddenly iPhone 5 has 4G connectivity.

Good if someone can share how to activate the eSIM on AW3 or AW4 smile.gif

What do you mean? Maxis supports eSIM for iPhone Xs but not for Watch. Please read carefully. I did not mention about Xs.
Today is the launch of 12.1, carriers that said that they will provide eSIM to the iPhones will get their eSIM.

If anyone has an AW4 cellular, they can try it out but i doubt 99% it would not work because Maxis will block the usage IF they add a blocker.

I've been trying to add a Data Plan to my AW4, but not being able to go past this screen.
Looks like Maxis is blocking it from the backend.

GREAT! Thanks for the clarification. Now we do know if Maxis blocks their eSIM from being set-ed up in AW4.

On a side note, cry.gif It shows we are really not getting it anytime soon.

Certainly seems like that they are blocking it.

Looks like Maxis are only offering eSIM support for devices they are currently selling.

Probably eSIM on the Apple Watch will only be supported by Maxis when they start selling them. tongue.gif

Get their reply as below from Mac City:

“ We apologised for this matter. We are pending the shipment which we do not have the date as yet. But once it arrives in 1 -2 weeks you wil be notified by the online team. Thanks for your patience. “

Really disappointed where I need to wait 1 to 2 weeks when their online store was state in stock and this will be my last purchase with them.

Same here. Last time ordering from them. Have you thought of cancelling the order and ordering from Apple store?

This is my first time and also last time ordering with them. I not sure how long they will take to refund back and as I check from Apple website, the delivery date is 22/11/2018 - 28/11/2018 .

Not sure I shall wait or not. Any idea or suggestion? or any sifu can share your previous experience buying with Mac City? lol

If CC, probably weeks. Thought of asking for refund and ordering from Apple Store. Usually their delivery date will reduce as they have direct supply of products.
