You've had no issues with damage to the body of the watch right? Which means my previous (and quite possibly current) unit are lemon units. Sigh.
So...time to find a watch user in countries with ECG enabled. Thanks for your hardwork!
This is a money-making opportunity here...ECG unlock services laugh.gif

Hahahaa. Exactly. Time to reach out to some of the long lost friends from other countries. biggrin.gif

Maybe soon, at least you are already ready your watch with cellular. Hows the battery life? Need to charge daily right? Then if you charge at midnight, you cant wear it while you sleep. Otherwise it can sense how deep is your sleeping pattern.

Would be nice if Apple has it's own sleep app. I'm using Sleep++ but it doesn't provide as much data.

And figure out which one is still stuck with apple AND uses the watch. The more I think about it, the more I think I'll just keep on using it without ECG sweat.gif

Quick clarification: The ECG functionality will need to be unlocked in the region itself right? Would a friend in a compatible (for lack of a better word) country without a watch be able to do it?

The decibel meter thing seems like a good addition. How's the performance? Battery better/worse/no different?

Huh. Is that normal? What was your day like? Battery life prior to the new WatchOS?

Coz I usually get more than 12 hours of battery life per day - have circa 60% at 11pm. If I walk around the site more, I'll have about 40% instead. If it was a particularly grueling day, I'll have about 25%.

I wear the watch to sleep. Charge it when showering. Wear it throughout the day. Charge it again when I get back. Once it's full I'll wear it to sleep.

Finally, manage to resolve the ECG.
You just need to sign in iCloud with someone who has ECG activated. Then load the ECG into your phone. Once done, u can sign in with your own Apple ID.
*
Is Australia part of it? If someone there can try to activate?

U can use Apple Watch ECG in Australia. It has been officially launch. If you own an Apple Watch from Australia but you are in Malaysia. Then u need someone’s Apple ID (Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and etc) who has activated their ECG on their Apple Watch. To sign in into your iPhone, it could help u activate the ECG.

Maybe it's like an iOS update where it's calibrating/downloading/etc. Hopefully that's the case. I don't want a new WatchOS if the battery life is shite sweat.gif

I have quite the many notification, emails, weather report(i have 3 weather apps), drinking water reminder, sunset/sunrise, and all the other shenanigans. (wifi is always on).

Hmm...That sounds a lot better than your previous battery life. I guess like most iOS updates, it takes a while for your watch to index (is that even a thing?) and what not. Thanks for the confirmation bro!

Battery life seems bad on watchOS 5.3
A full charge lasts only 18 hours
Fyi last week it lasts at least 36-42 hours
I only used email notifications mostly and alarm
