QUOTE(cristiano7mu @ Jun 15 2007, 10:07 AM) i see no peace in McLaren this season. LOL I don't think so lol. I expect Alonso to look elsewhere after his contract runs out.hope both of them will still stay in the team for few season but if things going on like this confirm will see a new driver nx yr. Hamilton is now a very valuable driver, if not most valuable after Michael Schumacher. Big budget teams like Ferrari will be looking at signing him up, and McLaren will be digging deep into their pocket to keep Hamilton there. Alonso doesn't have much to bargain for if he wants to stay at McLaren, they're going to go bankrupt with two high paying drivers. |

How come Alonso always complains that he is ill treated by his team. When he was with Renault, same things happened. Now with Mclaren, again it happened.

Hamilton dismisses Alonso`s complaints as `strange`
Friday 15th June 2007 QUOTE Lewis Hamilton cannot understand why team-mate Fernando Alonso feels the British rookie is being favoured by McLaren. Double world champion Alonso reportedly told a Spanish radio station he has "never felt totally comfortable" since joining the Woking outfit from Renault for the 2007 season. But, following Hamilton's maiden grand prix victory in Canada last weekend, he reportedly said a British driver in a British team was getting "all the support and help". Speaking ahead of Sunday's United States Grand Prix in Indianapolis, championship leader Hamilton responded by saying: "I find it strange that he said that. "I feel that, ever since he joined the team, the team has been extremely motivated to push us both towards winning. "Ron and the guys on the team have been pushing extremely hard and working extremely hard to make sure we have equal opportunities. "It's probably always going to be difficult. "I've got a great relationship with all the guys on the team because I've been there since I was 13. "But, at the end of the day, when Fernando came into the team, they were extremely excited and I feel that they've built a very good relationship with him. "So I don't see why he would say that but I guess, because he is Spanish and I am English, he might feel that way but I don't agree with it personally." The comments mark the second race in a row that friction has emerged between the pair, with Hamilton sparking an FIA investigation into whether the team broke the rules at Monaco when he implied he was told not to try and beat Alonso. The team were absolved of any guilt after insisting any orders were merely to ensure a McLaren one-two. On Sunday, it was Alonso who showed his frustration after being outshone by his inexperienced team-mate, who now leads the drivers' championship by eight points after a sensational start to his Formula One career. Hamilton added: "I doubt very much he was expecting me to do as well as I have but I don't know if that's why he would be saying what he's saying. "Coming into the team, he's the two-time world champion and I don't think he's really been challenged. "Well, he's had one or two challenges in the past but not from someone as close as me and as good a friend off the track. So it's a very difficult situation." Hamilton's arrival in Indianapolis was delayed when his flight from Washington DC last night was cancelled, forcing him to spend another evening in the American capital following a personal appearance there for sponsors Exxon Mobil. He arrived 24 minutes late for the official FIA media conference, having come straight from the airport. Having gone to New York straight after the race in Montreal, he admitted he still had not been able to gauge the reaction to his maiden victory. He said: "I've been in New York so I've not really heard too much. I heard that I had the front pages back in the UK, which is awesome. "But, other than that, I've not really been able to feel what has gone on around the world. "I think that's been quite good to be honest. I've been able to relax, although I have had about 200 text messages from friends. It's been impossible to reply to them all but I'm trying." http://www.planetf1.com This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Jun 15 2007, 02:37 PM |

Team mate vs team mate will make the team work extremely hard to satisfy both drivers.. in which, it will make McLaren stronger also..

How come Ferrari is lagging so far behind?
But i wonder why McLaren is the only car that have the most thin front body..thought there's a rule that every part of the car body have to follow specification? |
