McLaren seems so good in wet in the final.
Or Massa just don't know how to race in the wet perfectly.
What a way to win a GP by Alonso and McLaren.

Ferrari people punching fist when they saw Alonso overtook Massa...maybe blaming Alonso for the move.
But Schumi feels that Alonso made a fair move...I'm with Schumi.

Good effort my Lewis to keep the engine running.
He never gave up.

Disaster weekend for Ferrari cry.gif
But...2nd place not that bad.

this kind of stuff happens, it is not the first time, it happened for quite a number of times, the one i remember most is one race in 2003 where McLaren is leading, then the rain comes and destroy everything, ferrari overtook mclaren and won the race.

Schumacher is smart. He knows the result already and went to prepare for the trophy presentation. How can he have face just standing around the pits when he already has been there for over 2 hours as the commentator said? shakehead.gif Think ler...did any of you notice he changed his shirt and probably tidy his hair a little before presenting the trophy? This is his first time invited to present a trophy...he CAN NOT be late for something like this.

As you said, you can state what the commentator said, but I prefer you not to say Schumacher has no face in the result of Massa losing the lead to Alonso. Schumacher has no reason to do that and also, which channel are you watching? If StarSports, I should say the commentators are not on par because they always give wrong informatons.

I think Alonso made a fair overtaking manoeuvre, that is racing, one is desperate to win and the other defend, anything could happen when one wouldnt tolerate, what do you expect? Alonso was wrong to accuse Massa "did that" on purpose, so I don't like Alonso with his behaviour. Massa, is a great driver of the race, I don't think wet conditions would pull him down, because if it would he already spun off in the beginning where rain condition is even worst. Massa stated that he have some problems with the tyre during the last stint where he cannot manage to control his pace and result in losing the win.

I suggest you take back your accusation saying Massa is imperfect in wet, you are not in his shoes at that very moment and you are not really to one that can judge. I would say bravo to Alonso in the overtake maneovre but disappointed to his behaviour, great racer with a suck attitude would not make him shine. I should say, there is nothing much to celebrate on his win as how he accused Massa right after the race, no sportmanship. shakehead.gif

congrats to alonso for European GP win. exciting race to the end and
lots of dramas/incidents. pity for hamilton, his podium finish streak has broken,
but surely he's going to hold that record for a long time for a rookie.
next stop, hungaroring. smile.gif

the commentators is the one from the FIA one lar, the official one. i watch TV2. they both said that during the last few laps, when Massa is still leading, Schumacher was at the place, preparing to wave the flag and see massa past the line. but when alonso overtook massa, he went off doh.gif

Alonso currently is one of the best driver in wets, though not as bullet proof as Michael once was. But still the best of current drivers.

But let me ask you something. Did you for a moment, felt that Alonso gesture at his car's side pod was necessary? I mean, its just a plain racing incident, its not like he never defended his position in such manner before. Why did he feel the need to act in such a childish way?

Of course Massa is no innocent either, he should had keep himself compose and give Alonso a wake up call during press conference that that is the way people defend, that's just racing incident, don't like it? Tough buns.
*
I never said what alonso did was right. I just said massa should take it as it is and like you said - a racing incident. Btw, its not alonso who hit his car. Its the other way round.

and imho when the last time massa was great in the wet? anyone can recall ?

addition to my comments on Hornet's post :

that's why i admire Hakkinen so much. He take it in his stride when anything bad happen to him. Although i'm not 100 % like Alonso ( i only support the Mclaren team), drivers like him make the F1 more interesting imho.

Yeah, Massa just lose his cool there I think...
Alonso car is ahead of him by almost half a car length and yet he simply cant admit he's been overtaken and steer into Alonso car. If both DNF, guess who will visit whom garage... hahahaha.... and benefit who? Webber rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

He's so happy when he held Wurz after the mistake at the last chicane.
I feel his excitement.
Podium wooo...not easy to get ma...

That's why I personnally don't like Alonso.
Hated so much when he joined McLaren mad.gif
After 'marah2' then apologize...so easy meh?
Jentik hidung baru tahu tongue.gif
Each time he won a GP...I just turn off the TV.
Compare to Lewis, I'll watch till the end.
He's a good kid.

Imagine the outcome IF they touched and one of them went off the road hmm.gif

I wonder, will Alonso be punish when he pull a stunt on Fisi in the pit lane at the last pit stop.

Next stop, Hungary.
