The quality was premium, very smooth on the edge n surface.. Most import were didn't damage the iPhone stainless frame.

According to SingTel they are working with Apple to introduce eSIM to their new iPhones. Presently eSIM only available for Samsung Gear. I guess the other SG telcos are doing the same.

Anyone can confirm whether SG Set will get dual physical sim or 1 sim & 1 esim?

On apple website has been mention , except in China markets.
China model dose not support esim, even in china still don't have yet.

Apple SG stated Dual SIM (nano-SIM and eSIM), which mean both devices are like that.
Then MY set will be the same.

I opt to HK set for it's dual physical sim.

If you can get from hk that was good choices.

I hope for this difference, HK set still able to be claim in MY later. Who knows they won't honor it as different model.

I think you'd have to be very very observant to notice the gap. Pretty sure all other case manufacturers will just print a sticker for their existing X cases and say "Compatible with the Xs"...

You do know that no matter where you buy your iphone from, it will still be made in the same factory in China right?

When Apple claims the Xs and Xs Max are IP68, then the phone has to pass certain tests to qualify it for IP68 compliancy. So unless you are doubting Apple QC controls.

Do you know that using different chip and parts will actually increase the costs of production as Apple will have to come up with different parts for phones of different regions, as you claimed.

The dual sim slot is similar to your normal sim slot, only that it is made to accomodate two sims on on top and on on the bottom. Many android phones are already dual sim already.



The only difference I could think of between phones of different regions would be network bandwidth. But I will have to wait for the spec sheet to come out first before confirming.

The idea is come from proton car, all exported models are better than local model.. I hope it won't be happen for the overall standard 😱😱😱

for dual physical sim, i think warranty wise would be an issue here due to the sim tray and the board reading the sim card different... not sure if apple malaysia will honor hk/china/macau sets.

i see 2 youtube video... both saying the camera lens there slightly packed when fix in X case to XS...

This is the same disscussion we had for all launches of new generation of Iphones ever since. Rule of thumb, buy only Apple Store sets, especially when you are buying oversea sets. Two, pray and hope AASPs here wont turn away your foreign set. I myself had only claimed once for an apple store sg set with MacCity. But the staff did mention they are helping me out by sending the unit back to SG for claims and this is a case to case basis. Meaning that they could reject your set as it is not a My set.

AASPs here dont repair your phones here for RMA cases. Your units are sent back to Apple Sg for repairs and they will replace your phone with a seed unit.

Haha when brand new are dual sim , after replaced turn back to single sim.. Lol.
