Still I feel Shopee have bad timing on promotion , should had promotion on the 29-31.Now everyone is busy , should go for last minutes shopping with express delivery available and also those who got their bonus at the end of month.

The Coin have an expired date and purchase cannot be set which one to use up first.
Lets say every month purchase

Jan get 300 coin and Expired on March
Feb get 200 coin and Expired on April
March get 500 coin and Expired on May
Accumulated 1000 coin.

Now I have 1000 coins.
At April The 300 coins got from march is expired.I cannot select Jan coins to for purchase.No matter how , it'll still expired 300 coins , only if you fully use up the 1000 coins all at once to avoid the 300 coins is expired.
No matter how , I cannot select the Jan 300 coins to use up.As long as you have remaining coins , it will auto deduct.More to auto deduct coin than expired.
If I can select Jan coin and use up , I still can retain 700 coins.Now if can't select , no matter I buy with 300 coins usage , by April , I'll still lose 300 coins.

I am mere saying 300 coins but if 10000 or 100000 coins purchase in this CNY.Will need to use up all before april and maximum is 30% coin or rm30.Means you need to buy at lease 1k item separately per purchase and shipping voucher used until utilize all the coins.

Please let me know if I am wrong again.

In this case, if you have lots of coins such as from winning the quiz, use the coin to claim free movie tickets or ice cream or other voucher codes.

I am discussion about how coins expired and deduct.It means you are force to fully utilize at the end of the expired date.In other words , the shipping voucher is not enough and force to pay for shipping.

If you mention about movie tickets or ice cream , how many you are going to buy ? RM12 a ticket max you only can use 30% of it or RM3.6.So you need to buy a lot of tickets or ice cream to use up.3600 coins = need to buy 10 tickets and if ice cream you need a large fridge.Not everyone is doing this.

For me.. Whom consistantly will buy small thing especially baby stuff, this coins thingy is consider ok just like lazada wallet where i top up knowingly will use it to buy baby formula.

For those whom not buying online every month in shopee, it may not your cup of tea.. Next time maybe just aim direct discount like banks's code

Regarding movie tickets and ice cream, i meant one can go redeem it at the daily coin reward section. By using coins, you can get free baskin robbins, free mbo ticket, discount voucher, etc.

Well, at least better than it going to waste.

Shipping charge is quite reasonable, especially items from China, less than RM10, cheaper than Taobao's shipping charge. Local shipping around RM5-8, better than petrol+parking cost.

Shipping cost subsidised by Shopee is just a bonus to the shoppers. But it is not sustainable in long term.
