I think ur Dr. decided to extract only 3 teeth due to the nature of ur current teeth... by extracting 1 on lower part is OK to make ur lower teeth symmetrical enough... good for u leng_leng...

So u only cabut 1... the numbness shudnt be that much...  thumbup.gif

The bleeding part... the blood is jelly-like or a normal blood? mine last time was jelly-like... maybe my ortho injected some chemical that make the blood "frozen" wink.gif... urmmm, try to eat/drink something cold for the time being... and nurse said dont spit too much bcoz it will trigger more blood to come out from the hole (  hmm.gif  )... hope it works...
*
yeah but next week will cabut 2!! Actually is not as bad as what I've expected ler.. Only the injection was like kena semut gigit other than that was pretty fine~~ icon_rolleyes.gif

Hmm...is like normal blood lor.. aiyoh I summore drink hot soup on the day after extraction oh.. but the day after was ok already... maybe i worried too much hehe... And now it is almost recover liao! thumbup.gif

After reading all the posts here.. I starts wondering why my extraction so expensive..

1 screw = RM500
1 tooth = RM1000

I have to put 2 screws and pull out 5 teeth..
Total shud be RM6500
Can some1 tell me what is happening?
My Dr is from Plaza Damansara, DR Aaron Kong. He is an ortho..
Then the dentist from near SOGO, DR Wong.. A dentist Surgeon..
*
WAH~~~~ shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif

Really? Hrmmm... i think u can try to apply ulcer cream on that part during bedtime... who knows it works... leng_leng, bertahan ya...  smile.gif
Honestly, i do feel the same thing... when looking at the big holes, i wonder if those holes will close it gaps during the braces treatment... but looking at most successful cases and remember what my ortho did say, i believe that my braces will do their excellent job...

Extracting 4 healthy teeth is not an easy decision to make... i feel "pity" looking at my extracted teeth... they r sooOooo strong n healthy... but they have to "sacrifice" to save the rest of the teeth...  notworthy.gif

I thought im the only one doubt the decision made... martiolativo, ur not alone... i do encounter the same feeling as urs...  nod.gif  . And i also believe our friends who did the extraction in this forum feel the same too...
*
Izit? I actually felt excited when looking at the hole wor.. rclxm9.gif they must hv to sacrifice to correct other teeth n the return is worth without them staying inside my mouth after they accompany for so many years...

I dun feel pity, but feel sorry to them hahaha... If I stil keeping them inside my mouth the rest of my life wil be ruined... tongue.gif

Power chain is like a support bra for your teeth...hahaha...U wanna know how it looks like? i tried taking pictures. But because mine is transparent, so its not visible in picture.
but click this link  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cacRPeRytlQ&NR=1
But the video a bit scary la...put so many things into his mouth. My chain only hooked 4 of my upper front teeth. smile.gif
when u have the power chain on, u feel damn tight. But it's a very hard working chain. it moves ur teeth fast...
*
thanks Nikki.... I dare not watch the video ler.. watch until half close it fast fast... I scared after I watch it then I dare not put on my braces liao... ohmy.gif

White_tulip, thanks alot for ur sharing....really appreciate that happy.gif

Now I dun feel that pain actually...alot better than wut I've expected... as my doc told me the few days after putting on braces is the most painful days... is juz that my teeth feel sour and numb and couldnt chew...

How do you eat when you are in work ya? it's kinda hard to get softer food outside rite? Luckily I'm stil jobless until today so I can cook myself at home and I think this is my fate for being jobless and having braces at the same time haha laugh.gif

I believe in few weeks u will start adjusting urself with braces inside ur mouth... without u realize u can chew and feel as if nothing inside ur mouth... bcoz ur getting used to it... smile.gif

During work, usually i buy breakfast consist of any type of noodles... as i said, noodles are easy to chew... sometimes i bring porridge from home... sometimes i just buy bread/biscuits and eat with hot milo or tuna spread/peanut butter/nutella (nyum nyum)... if u feel bread/biscuits are a bit hard to chew, dip in hot drink until it soft, then eat lorrr... or instant oats... or bring blended fruits i prepared nite bfore... or sometimes i just buy papaya... or whenever i wanna eat outside, i always order meehoon/kuetiaw kungfu/ladna/fried... or pasta/lasagna at fast food restaurant... anything soft, chewable which can fill up my empty stomach... but thank God nowadays i can eat fried rice, KFC, McD, etc... then after work, i rush home and eat home made cooking... just be creative and frequently change food so that u wont get bored... and try to eat food that u think u can chew... then add it in food-i-can-eat list... to ur surprise, ur list will become longer and longer...  nod.gif

U will get used to it leng_leng... dont worry... n do have fun eating so many foods with braces on!  Just dont forget to brush/clean teeth after meal ya...  icon_rolleyes.gif

How do you brush your teeth at work dear? you bring toothbrush along with you kah?

I've thought of making fruit juice as well... put all fruits into the juice mixer then drink!! thumbup.gif Oh ya ur braces is damon also?
