Not sure what is horrendous about it. Used it before. No issues.

EMUI is well known for force closing apps.. even after locking it and removing said app from power and ram management. It became so bad that even vlc ban Huawei users from downloading their app. Not sure I'd Huawei finally fix it, but that is just 1 of the many issues with EMUI.

from gsmarena

Ambient display has a few extras hidden under the hood as well. You can set a couple of different triggers for it, like tapping the screen or picking up your phone and there are a few watch style to choose from. There is no always-on mode, as a pre-emptive battery conservation measure.

85.6% screen-to-body -6T ratio vs 83.8% screen-to-body ratio - 6...hmmm i think i kept my money for 7 .... hoping 7 would bring 91% screen-to-body ratio

The notch is smaller than the Honor 8x ( whistling.gif ), yet the ratio is lower... hmm.gif

Such a small issue. 9.9/10 users dont even notice it. And it does not interrupt the normal phone usage as well

They never use EMUI, no need to bother them.

Those appreciate EMUI, will know the benefit.

I agreed. Oneplus is making the inscreen finger print a big hoo hah.
But if you remove the basics.... then I feel it is at the losing end

Right about that. No notification light blinkers, no headphone jack and a thicker phone. And the price is killing it too. Never imagined Oneplus will price it's phones above Rm3k which is a bit too much already.

As a Oneplus 6 user, I would've happily taken a slightly thicker phone for the bigger battery.

Not a fan of the in-display fingerprint reader though, and the lack of headphone jack kinda suck.

Also for the rather high price, OP should have at least included the USB-C Bullets earphone. Even Google have started including earphones for the Pixel!

reading comments since this morning make me think twice of getting 6T...

but if not getting 6T, which phone best to get next?
or should wait price drop or get import set?
(was 5T user, but lost due to theft)

Looking at this, there is no real reason to upgrade from the 5T or 6 to the 6T. You actually lose some features and functions compared to staying with your existing phone.

using oneplus 6 red...from my point of view it wont be a great upgrade from 6 to 6t...given the price drop of Note 9 recently I would rather get n9 for better screen and speakers as well as better camera. just my 50 cent.

sometimes u might think that 3.5mm jack is not important...but when u need it, and u forgot to bring to dongle, which i experienced it when using mix 2s...it is really frustrating tongue.gif

Personally, i also do not like the increase to a 6.4" screen. The 5T is already slightly too big. This bigger screen plus still using a 1080p screen makes it even more pixelated. I will wait for the OP7 and hope for good news.
Furthermore most companies are adopting interesting finihses and colours like huawei but OP is still using dull black and grey.
