Hello.

I was wondering if there's anyone experiencing the same problem as me on OnePlus 6.

I am on Android Pie, Oxygen OS 9.0.2 since it was released OTA.

For the past few days, sometimes when I want to unlock the phone via fingerprint scanner, it will not read at all.

Disabling the pocket mode works sometimes, but eventually it won't read my fingerprints.

When I tried to add a new fingerprint, it will not read any of my new fingerprints.

So far, the only solution that I could come up with is to restart the phone.
*
Try clearing the cache and re-register the fingerprints.

guys the best GCam for OP6 now is this version > GCam_6.1.013_stable_OP6.apk ?

I feel like this version > GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk seems to take better picture on my OP3 compared to that 6.1 stable version on OP6
*
Actually it's quite a toss up. Some of my pictures look better on the OP6 while some don't. But the OP6 produces sharper images at every instance.

May I know what is the issue? is it some sort like the screen won't wake up even though you already tap it twice?
*
Yep, have to use the power button to wake it.

For those who are using gcam, does your gcam can only capture in hdr+ enhanced?

Because mine cannot capture on non-hdr and hdr.

With that said, it causes the capturing process very slow, it takes 1-2 seconds to capture, link below demonstrate the capturing process.

Just wanted to know whether it's the same to all of OP6 gcam user ? Or it's only my gcam version that has this kind of problem?

Same issue, i'm on the 6.1.013 build.

HDR+ is on by default and can't be switched off at least for my version of gcam. Not sure about the newer releases though.

i'm on opera---OP6T and on all my other devices--very happy with it after trying the rest

Have you encountered any issues with Opera? Been having issues with opera where it hangs after 10 minutes or so of usage.

Have to restart the app to rectify this issue.

Open Beta 3 just dropped. Hopefully we'll be getting a stable release by mid September.

Just updated via oxygen updater. Phone was running warm to the touch an hour or so after the update, probably background processes related to the update.

not sure...have not really survey any brand or model, OP6 died so sudden.

with the budget of around RM2k, not into gaming, not into photos, perhaps would like a phone for music/ audiophile. Any recommendation? LG V60 ThinQ? LG smartphones in malaysia seems like a dead d?! Sony Xperia 1 iii?

Is Huawei without playstore still a good choice? Or should i go for value for money device like Vivo, Realme and Xiaomi? May b will be looking at older models of 'flagship' from Huawei, Vivo, etc...
*
LG pulled out of the smartphone market in 2021. Sony Xperia 1 MK3 retails for like 3.5k.

Not many people buy Huawei phones nowdays, so hard to judge if their own Gapps replacements are adequate.
