this issue kacau me for quite some time already, what i do is pull out and plug in again until get super charge.

if rosak even faster due to this action also no choice la, normal charging damn slow.

No longer under warranty, wonder how much it cost at huawei service centre, the support app don't have pricelist for charging port.

It’s relative. Naturally, wireless charging is slower than wired charging. But the benefit is from the convenience. You can also use it to charge overnight and because it’s slower, battery is not adversely affected comparatively.

Having said that, there are also fast charging wireless chargers in the market.

From personal experience, normal wireless charging gets no hotter than fast wired charging.

Somehow wireless charging is pointless while the phone can last 1 day long with single charge.

just changed my waifu P20 Pro battery at local SC at only RM62 yesterday Huawei Service Day.

me since July 2018. Is not that bad, heavy usage, 1 day.

but decided to change for a few reason.
1. Android 10 / EMUI 10
2. Factory Reset it like new phone
3. New Battery Life Span like out of the box
4. Service Day discount and no labor fee instead of previous promo RM99, now only RM62
5. With warranty 3 months on battery too

So now the phone is like the new phone. Althou I didn't spend RM3299 on the phone (won it from contest) but I think the RM3299 really worth it and well spend for those who bought it.

Anyone with P20 android 10 having issues with google photos stucked at getting ready to backup/storage usage not available?

This is not a new issue for me, been having same problem with google photos not uploading/syncing but fortunately i can solve after few workaround. Just this time i really cant figure it out.

Already update to latest app, clear cache/delete storage, uninstall update/reinstall, remove acc, install latest version found in apkpure, back to reinstall prev versions for few times and still the same. My past 2 weeks photos wouldnt upload/sync.

Been google at this issue but no exact solutions.

The problem is Google photos will eat up the battery trying to backing up and sync. Maybe that's the issue as my storage is almost full of photos and vids only.

Anyone here using P20/P20P experiencing GPS/Maps issues with the latest EMUI 10 update?

I searched the Huawei forums and a lot of ppl are experiencing this too. No official fix yet from Huawei.

Iinm the phone is known with motherboard problem, many claim it under warranty which 1st sign of symptoms is gps not working

yes. it is officially we don't get the OS updates later for this phone. It was a flagship phone by Huawei only 3 years ago. It makes my heart to swap to OnePlus after this Huawei.

If only Huawei allow unlocking of their bootloader for their devices and custom ROMs (I know they once did, but that route is closed), quite satisfied with P20 Pro even though it is lacking a super wide angle camera, with 6GB RAM it should still be quite usable for sometime.

It's not so clear vs other better camera modules (more current ones) out there. I knew I was not fully satisfied with the camera when I first got the phone (it can't really compete with SLRs or even the mirrorless cams) but what I wanted was 3x optical zoom for me to take slides in a presentation and it does its job well and night mode is good enough.

The thing about the picture like coloured pencil or crayon has been there since day one - I suspect is the phone using the B&W sensor and then using another camera sensor to artificially fill in the colours - not only at 3x zoom. You can see the perspective/picture shift a bit when the colours change from the vivid one to the not so vivid/crayon like - it's the change in camera modules being used to take the picture.

Not yet. But i can tell that my battery performance had drop quite a lot. Last time full charge last me from early morning to night around 10pm average. Nowadays max until 5pm.

My case always let it on charger b4 sleep. Wake up only pull out wire. Battery performance do drop a lot and i blame myself for this practice.

But for 3 years old hp I tend not fully take care as during 1st year own it
