Im having a delay in keyboard typing especially in this lowyat forum, fb and etc. Never had this issues b4 this but it is annoying. Check free ram is still there when it happened.

Any idea? For my p20pro

What I'm experiencing is this...

Randomly chrome would kind of freeze. My typing actually continues but on screen, in the chrome Web page, it looks like it stopped.

If I leave it for some moments, sometimes it catches up. But while it is in the stuck condition, I can't actually do anything like scroll the page, click on a link or button, i.e it's actually frozen.

To counter this, normally I go back to home screen or switch to a different app and quickly return.

I use chrome like 97% of the time (the majority of which is surfing lowyat), so I'm not sure if this can also happen to other browsers.

Ps
Dang, it happened again just now.

100% same scenario as per your describe. Mine both at Chrome and FB while typing comments for example.

From day 1 owned this p20pro to last software update, I never experienced this even once. But the latest major software update (EMUI 10) back long time ago does trigger this problem on my phone. Does the phone Chip is catching up already or what?

I too suspect it's software related - so it's either the last update that probably did it or an update to chrome itself (though if you say FB also gets it, then it's probably the software update from Huawei).

This morning my P20 Pro received "System Parameter Update" message & request for restart, after restart don't see any changes at all  hmm.gif

Could it be to reduce cpu speed and save battery life? Like the big fruit company once did to their older phones.
