Anyone able to successfully cancel the Visa card by using the SST as reason?

Oh no.. I just found out about the rm25 charged to my master card.. Do you think the charged be waived if i cancel the card now?

May I know what's not eligible for cash back besides paying bills through JomPay and top up BigPay card? Did some research and didn't get much info, would appreciate it if anybody could provide some details or link me to a list of transactions eligible for cash back using Maybank 2 Cards Amex. Thanks in advance!

 Transactions for Maybank EzyCash, Maybank EzyPay Plus, Cash Treats, Cash Advance, and Balance Transfer;

 Only Cash Rebate which is amounting above RM 1.

Got it. So does that mean the Amex card gives cash back for EVERYTHING ELSE that's not on the list? There's no specific merchants that provides cash back like the Public Bank Quantum MasterCard?

I see. Do you happen to know if AIA accepts Amex? Saw that public bank quantum MasterCard provides cash back for paying AIA insurance premkum under online transaction, just wanna be sure that I'm able to get the 5% cash back from Maybank 2 cards Amex as well.

Just doing some comparison among the two to see which can provide me the most cash back and flexibility.

Hi. I just settle my ptptn loan repayment lump sum. But my statement it's not up to date & the officer did mention usually it takes 1 month to update the statement and release a letter of debt settlement. I don't have any credit history before this also. May I know if I try to apply for credit card what are the chances of approval or should wait one month for the release letter ?

Hi, i think my case quite similar to yours so perhaps i can explain my situation to you.

I also settled lump sum to PTPTN early of last month, just that am not applying new, am upgrading from gold to platinum (been using gold since 2011 😅), credit limit seriously low so been asking them to increase credit limit and adviced by the lady staff direct upgrade to platinum.

So what i did was submitted all the required documents, with the temporarily issue letter from PTPTN office saying i already settled the PTPTN loan as supporting document.

Voila, sms came in about a week after that my application is succesfully.

AS some of the user reported that they could cancel the maybank 2card visa/master , today I did call to SC yet they say unable cancel as both are linked card.

i told her that my friend was able to cancel it , and she tell me that i need to give a valid reason for canceling the card, my reason was =  underutilized and she say this reason cant be accepted for cancellation ?

she ask me to ask my friend for the valid reason?

Is this the unifi autodebit one? Its RM2 if u signup if I recall. I dont think Maxis has an autodebit rebate I think?

Last time i called in Maybank to remove the supplementary cards of maybank amex and visa in my wife's maybank2u because i already cancelled it long ago. Few days later they removed my cards in my maybank2u instead of hers. Then called in again to solve this issue, they restored mine but didnt remove hers. Now i give up already la.. So troublesome..

Autodebit will occur on the bill date correct? (NOT bill due date)
And on the bill date there must atleast be RM20 bill in order for there to be RM2 discount?

So if my bill date falls on a weekday and If I wanna get 5% weekend cashback, I just prepay the bill amount the weekend prior to the bill date? So basically I would need to prepay the bill?

I had requested to cancel my 2card visa on 11/10. I requested to transfer my visa 71++ treatpoints to Amex account. My Amex got 48++ treatpoints.
Yesterday I log in my Maybank2u, I found out that my account only got 48++ points.
Anyone has same experience? Should I wait first or call Maybank?

Even at 2% cash back it is still better than treatspoint in term of value. Your 1x TP has a cash back value of only 0.20%.

22. For EzyPay via Amex aka installments during weekend, cash rebate and treats points will be given for the FULL AMOUNT one shot and not by the monthly installments amount.

noted, is quantum same?since quantum i only use on master, nvr touch visa
