I just got my maybank 2 cards today. I got other cards d. I only activate american express card. If i dont activate the maybank mastercard, can i escape this forever by only use single card american express & avoid to pay sst for tis 2nd card?

Guys, anybody had this problem?

I had to apply for my Maybank 2 Gold Cards twice, and both times this frankly irritating thing is happening.

Basically what happens is, my application seems to fall through a black hole. They check back, they say doesn't exist. I last re-applied on 31 Aug, they ask to call back today, and yes, same thing happened.

Before you ask: yes, I wasn't scammed, I applied through Maybank2U only, and not using third-party.

Any idea? Also, to avoid this, do you recommend me to just email (like they suggest) or just apply in branch?

Why sometimes when I use my mbb mastercard at gas station it will reject my card? i had to use my visa instead

well it's working fine for me. I buy stuffs from shopee without problem. One thing that I notice if it's my first time using card at the particular gas pump, it will decline my transaction. After using my visa card then only it will work. Not sure if maybank has some sort of protection for mastercard?

I'm using ikhwan mastercard btw, the visa one is maybank platinum (not sure if this right?).

Well, it's not. But I wonder did anyone try and got cashback last time. Btw, I meant multiple transactions to the same merchant in the same day. It does not say it is per card or per customer also.

Need advise sifus, cash back on weekend is 5%, max rm50 a month if I'm not wrong. Its mean equal to purchase of RM 1000. Does this mean purchase over 1000 it is better to get TP on weekday rather then CB on weekend?

Need to spend for 8k, so need to decide cash back or tp.
