left-pocket, right-pocket scenario: you still owe the bank in total. doesnt matter where you park the installments


shift installments to mastercard, you still need to pay amex (normal spending) + mastercard (installments)

maintain installents to amex, you still pay amex in total (normal spending + installments)


if you plan to default payment to mastercard (installments), interest/financial charges still applicable

redeem after sst is charged. once per year. cannot redeem in advance.

can redeem for any mbb cards that can earn TP

eg FCB VS card cannot earn TP, so you cannot use TPs from M2C to redeem sst rebate.

maybank can cancel the SST after card is cancelled, provided no retail txn occurred after sst was charged.

rebate, big no no from maybank. only use TPs to redeem RM25-equivalent rebate. once-per-year redemption.
