QUOTE(hirota @ Aug 26 2020, 09:32 AM) Probably because the cheaper non-pro version has twin apps feature under settings.https://www.hardreset.info/devices/asus/asu...twin-apps-asus/ |

Aiya,I just updated to Android 9 through OTA then I saw the developer Android 10 update in the Asus website. Should I update it to 10 now or stay with 9 first? Any major bugs in 10?

Any major bugs in 10? Well... if this is our main primary device, me do not suggest to proceed... later very difficult to downgrade from A10 to A9... |

my max pro m1 ended its service...
the phone cant booted, stuck in the "Powered by Android" screen.. cant enter recovery mood.. can only enter "csc fastboot mood" by pressing vol up btn + power btn.. went to phone repair shop, asked me goto asus service center.. they cant fix it.. google searched.. seems no way to revive it.. unless change motherboard.... before the phone cant be used, i actually downloading a size app.. during the downloading process, i can feel the phone lag.. in the download process, prompted me that insufficient storage, then i uninstalled some big size apps and cleared some storage.. then the download resumed.. i charged the phone and leave it.. when i got back my phone, the phone was not responding.. restart the phone.. then forever stopped at "Powered by Android" screen.. maybe caused by memory.. installed latest OTA firmware.. 4GB variant.. used 2 years + 1 month.. it's actually a good phone.. too bad.. didnt goto asus service center yet.. dunno how much will cost if need it to be repaired.. no spare phone.. bought redmi note 9s next day... For 2 years and 1 month, consider OK la for the price. Will be interesting if it can still be fixed at the service centre. This post has been edited by attw: Oct 6 2020, 11:18 AM |

QUOTE(gundam0 @ Oct 6 2020, 10:59 AM) my max pro m1 ended its service... Sorry to hear that, i still think it was the software corrupted and not the mainboard, they just want to sell a new mainboard and doesnt want to do those flashing, formatting, recovery etc , they just want it to be quit and simple, change the mainboard and perhaps all those RAM, CPU, Graphic build-in intact onboard and just reflash a firmware or software and tada a new phone for u the phone cant booted, stuck in the "Powered by Android" screen.. cant enter recovery mood.. can only enter "csc fastboot mood" by pressing vol up btn + power btn.. went to phone repair shop, asked me goto asus service center.. they cant fix it.. google searched.. seems no way to revive it.. unless change motherboard.... before the phone cant be used, i actually downloading a size app.. during the downloading process, i can feel the phone lag.. in the download process, prompted me that insufficient storage, then i uninstalled some big size apps and cleared some storage.. then the download resumed.. i charged the phone and leave it.. when i got back my phone, the phone was not responding.. restart the phone.. then forever stopped at "Powered by Android" screen.. maybe caused by memory.. installed latest OTA firmware.. 4GB variant.. used 2 years + 1 month.. it's actually a good phone.. too bad.. didnt goto asus service center yet.. dunno how much will cost if need it to be repaired.. no spare phone.. bought redmi note 9s next day... and they will charge u more rather than just those techie flashed, formatting and recovery + a mainboard Perhaps those mainboard already has a problem due to dropped many time and by changing a mainboard eveything will be easy and hassle free from a new or next problem . |
