Asus launching the pro M2, good improvement compare to M1?

ah my bad the grammar, i was checking about it and lazada official asus don't offer and shoppe official asus sold out, seems like selling hot.

other than the notch, is the 660 of M2 and the 636 of M1 have a big different? like battery life or heat? general use with some casual game i suppose can't notice the difference?

i read that the stock android from asus is not actually from the android one program, but it should be almost the same?

seriously considering after many years never touch asus.

either the mi a2, or the m1 then, if m2 restock soon then i shall take it. mi a2 unfortunately the battery is small.

meaning the pie update has some serious bugs?

anyway i settle for M1, lost my phone so i am getting one can't wait too long, rm 637 is still a good deal at lazada official asus i suppose.

mainly i need it for google drive/ doc/ pdf related and waze, 5000mah battery is really a catch, my redmi note 3 last me about 1 and half day, this can probably do 2 days for normal use i hope. i shall look into the gcam later

receive the unit with average packaging, ninjavan inform me 3.30pm wanna come, 8.30pm baru sampai i am really pening with them

the screen brightness is so bright, i just use like approximate 20% brightness now.

smooth and easy to set, some bloatware lazada, facebook, facebook messenger, other than that i am satisfied. the fingerprint unlock works fast, but the detection is somehow not so accurate.

call is clear and wifi works fine. gps yet to test, camera not yet also, hopefully no major problem then tahan for 2-3 year i no regret already

got some updates about system stability and bugfix etc, now the get another is update to android p, i search the version .053, got many complaints

i set the update to no auto download, but the notification doesn't go away, even i long press and disable its notification dot etc all. seems like system update can't be dismissed.

now still on orea 8.1, 15.2016.1902.340, security feb 1 2019.

wondering if no update the system then the security will forever stuck at feb only?


battery since 21hours ago, still have 47% and projected 21 hours more, screen time 5.36, looking good on current system.

As in factory reset after Android p update install?

True that a monthly security can't fight the frequent breach.

May be it is better to wait until p is more stable before update.

Over 37 hours since last charge, and 8.30 screen time, still have 33% batt, not bad at all, gps locking fast and good.

just got an update to 20190703, notice a japanese app appeared, disabled it, and another digital well being can't be disable?

it stated is from google?

anyone experience battery drain? 50% just by a little from last nite full charge. 1 short call and no game, no browsing literally just sit there only.

If change battery estimate how much?

Anyone have gps issue? Hard to detect, waze and google map both have issue even after restarting.

tried clear cache and not working, then press clear storage and try again.

the waze login itself is problematic and even the reset password doesn't work, made a new account and proceed with it instead.

so far working these few days.

i am not really sure if something in the waze stored data corrupted or what but apparently it can affect google map and grab as well

now that they are working i will try for longer time and see if it repeat again, hopefully no need to hard reset.

the problem arise again and i totally uninstall waze, and google map is back to normal, as well as grab.

i would say that it is a problem with waze software and seems like it is randomly affecting users due to some new detection technic for tunnel etc but it could mess up with the normal function. and it seems like waze is quite persistant, and get itself stuck in a loop, always prompting the same trip after cancel and turn off waze. Even after restart phone it still prompt the same thing over and over again, which should only happen if shutdown app during navigation and reopen.

hopefully the next update will be more stable, for now, i will not install it back.

lucky it is not the phone problem.
