UV screen protector same with matte screen protector ?
*
Nope different. UV filter is for sunlight filtering. Think of car windows tint. It filter out UV lights thus making less light penetrating the screen protector hence we can see the screen better. I might be wrong. Cause this is something new to me too! Haha..all these years of using only cheap screen protectors!!!

Later I try taking a picture of this in action when I go for lunch.

Then, just buy the Daiso one & cut-to-fit loohhhhh.....
*
It's tempered glass. And I really like it. The display is really clear compared to my old tempered glass. It also has proper oleophobic coating. Really worth it for it's price. Japanese/Daiso will never skimp on performance. When they advertise their product having those features, it will have.

And here comes another entry level contender: -

Shame about that battery size though. 4000mAh would have been more compelling.
*
Barely a contender with it's lousy 3400mAh battery and lousier EMUI. 2 of the reasons for me buying M1.

While our M1P is upgraded until Android "P"opcorn, the Honor 10 Lite is guaranteed to get Android "Q"uaker Oat....if this is the main criteria, H10L is the right choice...

Asus made a slight mistake releasing M2P with Oreo... Now both M1P and M2P will be upgraded until "P"opcorn only... M3P is getting one major upgrade until "Q"uaker Oat for sure...

I personally don't care about all the major upgrade(s) so long as the current firmware is stable & reliable... Average Joe also don't care too...

It's Android Pie, bro.

With graphene battery, we do not need this over-the-air charger. Just something like qi charger will do. Put the phone on it for few minutes and it will be done charging! Wow...probably in 5 years time.

M2 only have 4000mAH battery. So that is a downgrade already for me. I don't need to see the rest.

And 720p only! Thank you, next....

I put my phone on charge at 45% reserve. When I checked on it three hours later, it went up to only 82% and just stayed there. It started charging again, slowly after I restarted it.

Signs and symptoms of failure? Hope it happens well before the warranty runs out.  sad.gif

AFAIK, it could be due to 3 reasons. One is you have apps running in the backend that uses battery. You need to find the app and kill it. Second is your WiFi, Data, Location, LTE are all running and battery drain fast especially when your mobile signal is not stable. Some of the gangs here switch to airplane mode at night. I am not bothered with this kind of micromanagement so I leave every as is. I uses Macrodroid to automatically turn of DATA when I am connected to home and office WiFi.

Third is you are charging using a low current power source. For example, laptops or PCs that only provide 500mA. Charge with something that can provide 1000mA power.

LOL...I thought you mean the charging is slow.

Couldn’t agree more, which is the one thing I love about iOS despite its many flaws. Just backup via iTunes and when you restore to a new phone, everything is exactly like your old phone. Even the folders.
*
Haha..this is the small little things that iOS is good which is hard to explain to Android users. That is why my main driver is still iphone. Might change it to secondary though. Cause jailbreaking is getting harder and harder.

While I don't jailbreak my iPhones, if Tim and gang keeps this policy of increasing prices, maximizing profits and slouching over innovations, I might downgrade mine to my secondary phone eventually too.
All smartphones are evil bro. Android and Apple. devil.gif
*
I already done my part. I am not buying new iphone anymore if Apple keep increasing the price. My current iphone is 6s and it is good enough. Just changed the battery and the phone is good as new. Even if I am going to upgrade, it will not be perhaps used iphone XR. Cause it's more affordable and LED screen. OLED might be nice and all but replacing OLED is expensive! LED only cost RM60 to RM150 compared to OLED which cost at least RM600 and above.

Since you are using mobile@unifi, please check if your data usage is accurate. Mine is totally off using M1P. The free 2GB that is comes with are used up within 2 weeks. Usually, per my usage my monthly usage is around 500mb only. I lodge complain to TM but they are too dumb to do anything. The low tech customer support can only do simple diagnostics. I did a lot of further checking and comparison. Suffice to say I am very sure mobile@unifi is reporting bloated data usage.

I have also complained to MCMC but no reply from them either as I think there are insufficient proof.

I am testing Yoodo right now and the data usage is accurate. So I am going to ditch unifi@mobile after my credit is used up. Really a waste of money cause of their bloated data usage report. I think this is serious matter of scamming users. Because with bloated data usage, users are forced to buy more data.

I always use WiFi at home & Office, Data not much in-use, i have 3 line Unifi Mobile, im using 2 (nos) of the line, and the other my sister use it and she reloaded frequently on usage, as i remember i had reloaded 2 times only for both line of mine .

As u can see from the screenshot,

Balance of 7.18gb 22 Jan 19 = 40mb usaged
                    7.23gb 20 Jan 19 = 2mb+0mb+1mb+5mb
                    7.23gb 16 Jan 19 = 23mb(15Jan), 28mb(16Jan)
                    7.28gb 14 Jan 19 = 0mb

Perhaps not very accurately 95% base on the screenshot calculation, but it does help me w. The balance monitoring .
*
Hmm..you usage seems okay. Which is puzzling. Cause mine is really badly bloated. Tried Digi also no issue. But when switch to Mobile@Unifi, the usage is like drinking water.

With Mobile@Unifi, my phone usage reported 400mb only but TM said I used 2GB.
With Yoodo (testing now), my phone usage reporated usage 417mb but Yoodo said I used 488mb.

That is totally fine with Yoodo as slightly bloated I don't mind. The way Mobile@Unifi calculate usage is really off. I think the way they do rounding is not reasonable.

Looks like 339 update is only security patches. I will skip and continue using 334.

Nice! The v notch is the most acceptable to me to-date. Better than the stupid O punch hole. However, still don't notches.

Anyway. knowing Samsung, their UI is clunky, lots of bloatwares and battery drain too. I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon unless proven it is really good.

Mine have a hair line crack as well. Probably cause I dropped it slightly. It wasn't a big drop but still crack with my protective case. I still have another spare one but I think this batch of tempered glass is not good. Anyone using a better quality tempered glass for M1?

I wonder if Nilkin have protection glass for M1.

Buy from online. Lots of selection now except Nillkin. I am thinking of getting the full screen type but this month already bought too many things. Small small things add up to over 2k already.

Problem is I'm bad at applying it. Dust and bubbles galore!

Learn by getting those cheap ones first. After a few times when you are pro enough, then get the better ones.

Most important is to do it in dust free environment (in air-cond room) and really wipe the screen until very clean using the wet wipes.

Haven’t wiped yet. Surprisingly not so many fingerprint marks too smile.gif

That is probably because the default screen have oleophobic coating which attract less fingerprint. Or maybe you just are not using the phone enough.

Of course M1 is discontinued after M2 is launched. That's normal, right?

But I agree, Sam M20 and RN7 is better value. Asus need to launch M3 version soon or launch higher specs M2 Ultimate or something.
