To those using Mobile@unifi, is the data usage match with what is shown on the phone? Cause on my phone usage says 532mb used but on mobile@unifi, it said I finished using the 2GB data which is absurd!
Hi, newbie here, just need to know m1p or m2p which is better worth to choose ? Tq.
If new user, definitely get m2p. Unless saving like RM100-RM150 is very important to you. If that is the case then try looking for secondhand M1P which still have warranty. Or wait for RM499 sales for the 3gb version.
I wonder how much is the 4gb version selling now for a used unit.
Sometimes I wonder why I bother with the back whether it is polycarbonate or glass or metal and the design. Cause I will put in a case anyway. LOL...design is still okay because I can put a transparent case which can still showcase the back design.

Now, I'm beginning to wonder just what kind of chips came with the M2 (or even our own M1s).
It might be lower tier but in terms of reliability it should be fine. The manufacturer will still run their QC on these products to make sure it is reliable.
Western QC, example is 10% QC pass control. If more than 10% failure then whole batch will be discarded.
China QC, example if 10% QC. If more than 10% QC fail, then test ALL chips. Those working will be used and non-working will be repaired if possible.
In this case, you are talking about Qualcomm which is a western company. So it should be fine.
For those updated to firmware 338, is the battery much improved? Someone in XDA said "This is The Best Battery Backup Update From Asus... Recommend To Install as fast as Possible"
No Fota yet , but done manual download at the office net and save in thumbdrive .
Crap wut if i use data (celcom/unifi)to download imagine 1.6gb data , wowwww that is alottttt
Download using WiFi then. Updating full is one more step only, so I don't mind at all. FOTA is nice to have but you need to wait for your turn. Sometimes it never arrive after 1 month. If you can't wait then just go for full rom update.
Anyone know can recommend an app that can automatically kill background apps of my choice? I don't means something the kills background apps blindly. It kills only those that I choose. Cause there is this game that I just installed that is running in the background for no reason and sucking on the battery juice. I would like it to be automatically terminated instead of I needing to terminate it manually.
Conclusion: Go get the Limited RM819 while last...
Awesome review bro! Very detailed and much better than a lot of the so called "phone review sites" that only talks about the same things. However, too much reading for me. Hahaha..perhaps you need to create a youtube channel and hire a pretty girl to do the review. Then it will be viral! LOL...just kidding...keep up the good reviews. I will read them all.
Hence it's called A-to-Z... I do have other matters to post but the ZenTalk thread limit one post to 20,000 characters "Max"....Need to upload 2 post to get them out...
Also, I want to open the back casing to investigate the internal if possible... But, I don't think it's possible for review unit...
Nevertheless, thanks for everyone's support... Will contribute more if there is opportunity...
Do not let the limitation of these stop you from your creativity. Do one that is to your intention. Then only find ways to ports. If the forum is limited then post it into 2 threads. Post another disassembly review separately assuming you done it. We support you!
Fellow M2P users, my mom is complaining about phone lag, buttons unresponsive issue in her new M2P. Anyone facing the same issue?
Maybe she is talking about the lag when opening the phone calling app. That is known to be a bit lagging when the app is no longer in the background.
Ok, just tested, it does take like a second for the app (or any other apps) to open when I clear the memory. Compare this with iphone, this is a tad bit slower. iphone has very good UI and smooth. Less laggy than android. Anyway, her previous phone is iphone?

Nope her previous phone is Huawei honor 7. She told me that the lag is noticeable when opening apps like yoodo (she is using yoodo as her telco), lagging while navigating in the app itself. I will try it myself tonight.
Thanks for reminding me about Yoodo. There is a 20gb free data promo now for new accounts. I just applied. Apps seems working fine on my M1.

Anyone using screen protector for M1 that have UV filtering? I just discovered the awesomeness of using screen protector with UV filter. When under direct sunlight, still can see the screen as part of the sunlight will be filtered.
I mean I just discovered UV filter screen protector for my iphone 6s. Bought it in Daiso!! Didn't expect it to have UV filter but when I look at my phone under the sun, it have a blue tint and the screen is totally readable!! It's a bit dim but so much better than those without UV.
So moving forward, I am going to get screen protector with UV filter for my phones. Wondering if M1 have such SP.
