You could also try the original honda vtec oil, fully synthetic. This one can last for 10,000km. Sticker is gold.

Semi synthetic the sticker is silver color. Im using the semi ones (change at every 5000km or 3 mths). This oil can reduced engine noise and also not bad at redline. Or better still go for Q8 oil lor.

Front I used endless CCX hv some sound when it is cold.

The rear pad I use is call PUMATEC some thing like that... rear pad can go to 680degC price ~RM180/set. hv test it out on track hair pin turn, this time did not feel the back is pushing the front. Stoping From 200km/h to 70km/h no problem in 100m some time in 50m braking, pads still bite after 5-6 full laps of run. Now may worry my front brembo rotor cannot take the heat..... sian...

As for engine oil most of the time I only use semi-syn 15w40, may after 3-4 time change then hv extra $$ may go for the 10w40 fully-syn. Interval is 3 - 4k kms. That I use in a 2.0 lah.

Maybe its the switch at the pedal? Not too sure actually so can't help you there.
