QUOTE(sam9363 @ Jul 11 2007, 02:33 PM) nah, i dun have the engine! But mostly to find a EK, i've been ask for few EK. But they seem to use EG B16A to convert to EK. Then the wiring will sure use cut and sambung one. So might want to find a complete set of wiring loh. How about the EK4 wiring?? How much is a complete half cut of B16B or EK B16A?? or EK4 or ek9 come with B18C type R one? actually if conevrted from EG B16A then the wiring all should be ok, just only the meter cluster might be cut and modified. U cant fit ek9 wiring into EG B16A. EG ECU is ruuning OBD1, ek is OBD2. U only need ek wiring if u get EK engine. B16B slightly more than 10k, ek B16A around 7k+ There is no original ek9 come with B18CR. Added on July 11, 2007, 3:18 pmQUOTE(eddyann @ Jul 11 2007, 01:52 PM) engine not sure yet might be a B16A inside?? if with B16A, RM34k quite expensive for a hatch. But for Coupe maybe thats the price. All the rare stuff come with steep price This post has been edited by Cahill: Jul 11 2007, 03:18 PM

Most likely they will bring in Type R. But 200k for a type r NA car? Not worth it. I could get a stock 300hp car with that money.

LoL, I thought its turbo? How to compete? But if you say value and appeal, I go for golf GTi anytime. If you driving the new type R, I guarantee you, your maintenance cost wont be any cheaper than a turbo car. Turbo car also easy to take care mah, only thing extra is the turbine and intercooler. Normal fuel consumption? If I don't rev my car above 3k, I bet I can compete with your car in fuel efficiency.

Can u stand not revving past 3k rpm? the only time i managed to do that is every morning during engine temperature is still cold.

That's true also, but you also can't resist not revving your vtec at times. That happens to me many times. Anyway, I find it irrelevant for a type R to cost more than 200k. Only dumb, passionate, rich or mere fanboys will get it. My point is, for 200k+ there's alot of better choices. I seriously hope they don't sell it at that price though. It just not worth it. Buying the car is not actually buying it, it's more like paying the government. With the tax included, I honestly rather get something else then. I rather get the recon Sti or evo. The rest of the money, I can do up the car, add more torque.

If u dump in another RM30k, those evos or sti no match for ur eg already & ur chasis is lighter, u can smoked them in 400m easily.

But what you say is true. Anyway, I hope the type R is not too expensive. Otherwise, there's gonna be alot of fake type R on the road, cause not many people can afford it.
