u mean tat white mitsuba thingy?? nope. its not an immobilizer

i check on the web, it seems like some Locking mechanism for auto cars.

Key Interlock System:
The ignition key cannot be removed from the ignition switch unless the shift lever is in the "P" position.
If the key is inserted when the shift lever is in any position other than "P", a solenoid is activated, making it impossible for the key to be removed until the shift lever is moved to the "P" position.
it's for automatic only... manual no need. your wiring rojak ah?

not too sure how much unichip cost in msia but crome seems like bang for buck. i hv a look at the software of crome n hondata and they seems to hv pretty much the same function. fuel, ignition, low cam, high cam. but the problem with crome is it need to be obdI ecu if i m not wrong. if u r using obdII ecu then u will need conversion harness which is the extra part
*
hondata also need to be obd1 if obd2 then just need the conversion harness, plug & play. the only difference between hondata s300 is it can tune by usb cable + lab top. Whereas Crome, the eprom need to take out and burn in a rom burner or else need to buy 'ostrich' to have real time tuning like hondata.

i still can't make up my mind which one to go, actually in order to take full potential of these two, the narrow band O2 sensor also need to change to wide band. *sigh* that's mean more $$$ sweat.gif

the fact is that hondata is preferred by american tuners.....here, most of our mechs ask us to go e-manage/unichip.... hmm.gif chrome also first time i heard here...

cahill, i need to ask u something....my mech says that my ECU for b18 is the bigger version so i cannot rechipped, so isit possible to just add a 3rd party ECU like chrome/hondata...

hondata is a stand alone ECU if not mistaken,
u will take out ur OLD ecu n replace with a whole hondata unit.

chrome not so sure.

what u mean by big one? more rectangular is obd 1, more squarish is obd 2. AFAIK, all the rechipped ecu usually is obd1. Anyway u can just buy any obd1 ecu + obd2 to obd1 conversion harness, that will do the trick. but it wont come cheap, obd1 w/o rechipped around RM500, harness another RM300.
