Frankly speaking, 3.4k is a very good price for your bike's setup.

What you think of Commencal bikes? Warranty is on d bad side, but not sure what else is bad.. the Meta 4 seems nice! Short rear travel, xc bike.

SamuraiX,
wah, u going for the DH bike ar.. very hardcore wor biggrin.gif..some of the bike shop you can visit in PJ below. If u plan to go for full sus (front n back), something like this. If you want hardtail with front sus, you can look at this. This is some idea how is the bike look like with fullsus n hardtail. Some of the fullsus bike are quite light compare to the hardtail ones.

1. KSH (TTDI)
2. KSH (ss2)
3. JooNgan Bicycle (Uptown)
4. Merida Bicycle (Kota Damansara)
5. Boon Foo Bicycle (Taman Megah)

AndyLo,
Commencal Bikes, their frame looks strong. Bike setup also not bad with SRAM n Shimano components smile.gif ....Not sure how much they sell here la...?

Commencal bikes are quite good... I have tried my mechanic bike, if I'm not mistaken its a Full Sus Commencal 4.0..
I seldom see a HT Commencal around ere... But yesterday while I was at Bikepro, the owner suggest me to trade my bike and get the Commencal Supreme DH for RM10k.. clazeeee.... doh.gif

Here's the pic of my mechanic with his Commencal (4th bike).. He has a Cannondale Road bike, Scott 40, and EPX Terrashark (the original with carbon fibre swingarm) drool.gif

My mechanic bought it 2nd hand there when someone came and bought a Ransom and trade in the Commencal.. Lucky guy.. The frame Boon Foo sold off for RM2500.. cry.gif

oh! thanks a lot again for the fast reply, akchang.
actually i'd been doing workouts and training on myself for almost a year. planning to join a trialthon competition just so that i can gauge my progress. sweat.gif
my ol' bike wa kinda out of order already. it's a no brand, anyway. wanted to get a replacement. something which is light and with rear suspension, suitable for trialthon.

i'll drop by at JooNgan Bicycle to check around. hence his name was more familiar to me.

thank you.
