Can't really complain since the price really unbeatable during 2018.
I've take a look the latest poco f4, holy the giant poco text on the back lol.
And the chip performance, after 4 yrs it just jumps from SD845 10nm to SD870 7nm sweat.gif
Apple already using A15 5nm on their iphone SE sweat.gif , android really slow in catching up even after 4 years.
I think this year the iphone 2022 will enter 3nm.

It's basically can't happen, even Apple wanted to.
Taiwan won’t want to lose TSMC and China won’t want US to have own 5nm chip fabrication technology.
Apple also can’t buy Samsung (the only company other than TSMC with 5nm fabrication capability) either because of the same reason (South Korea won’t let it).

Really regret flashing Pixel experience android 12
1. Dial for MMI code will not work, example checking credit etc *126#, only work 1 or 2 times after that only show error message.
2. if login using PIN will need to click next button even after you fill up the correct PIN.
3. Bad battery life compare to stock rom, just horrible.
4. Can't switch navigation for back button position.
5. Root will require extra steps, *saw many failed and will remove support for OTA
6. Freaking huge search bar at the bottom of the home screen that you can't remove unless you change launcher, wtf!
7. The battery percentage and icon takes up sooo much space end up hid the cell phone signal.
9. Click the phone, the dial pad will always minimize, have to click to popup.

I just don't understand after so many years, a simple UX stuff they still couldn't get it right.
I end up revert back to Stock rom, debloat most of the bloatware and Root it. Installed AdAway, Magisk etc. Took me one whole day to setup my phone again, to the pre-PE status.
I'm very happy now.

The biggest issue is the battery life, it is way worst compare to stock rom.
The PE feel snappier, I think is just the animation illusion that makes you feel faster.
You can just set the ur stock rom animation to .5x, you will feel ur phone is flying.
Im not using custom rom after tried PE it gave me PTSD, already back to stock rom.
Just remove most of the bloatware you will see huge improvement for ur battery life.
no root require.

Only Genuine batteries can support quick charge right? Those advertised as original in Shopee / Lazada cannot?

bought once cheap 4300mah BM4E(original spec is 4000mah) from shpee(sold out) and it works for a year already
use original poco F1 charger can quick charge but as all other quick charge battery(unless its twin-cell in gaming phone), its bloats faster... so, i switch back to 1A instead of 2.3A, let it fill up slowly, less heat too also avoid in car charger

family device that i DIY before:
2012 MI-3W (battery twice, still alive)
Redmi Note 3 (battery, lcd+digitizer, lost)
Redmi Note 4X (battery, lcd+digitizer, lost)
Redmi Note 5 (battery, lcd+digitizer, still alive)

2019 Poco F1 64GB (lcd+digitizer)

*all global stock ROM but off all permission to the MAX......

Just realize the battery app no longer track more than 24hrs.
The old one used to track ur last change.
Now I can't get the exact numb for the last charge.

it depends ur prefrence. MIUI or Custom based rom.
From xda, xiaomi eu and crDroid are recommended by the community.
Im not sure about the sot etc, you can check their dedicated thread for review.

One thing im not clear about eu rom is their updates, i know they update their rom weekly.
How do you get updates? Need to manually download to flash every week? or via OTA?
If ur rom rooted need to refresh weekly?
