I read somewhere performance of MIUI12 is sluggish in SD845

Poor optimization from Mi. This has been known already not only on MIUI12 but other versions as well. Which is why lot of enthusiast Android users hate the UI. It even lags on flagship chip.

Maybe... because now when typing & playing games no more touch issues. Was annoyed with it last time around but just have to live with it. Now can type fast without issues if old screen can't type really fast.

Owners of the Poco F1 have been left on MIUI 11 so far but reports from a while ago claimed the 2018 flagship killer would finally receive the MIUI 12 update this week. It appears, however, that there's been a change in plans.

According to PiunikaWeb, the Poco F1 isn't likely to get its first taste of MIUI 12 for a while yet. Citing information available on the Poco F1 group, it's said that the MIUI 12 rollout for the phone has been postponed. The implications are simple: the Poco F1 is unlikely to get a MIUI 12 beta update until sometime in August, with a stable rollout to follow in about three weeks.

What this means is that Poco F1 owners should start getting the stable MIUI 12 update in late August or thereabouts, assuming there are no other unforeseen circumstances. The Poco X2 will likely also get MIUI 12 update around the same period.

Meanwhile, the Poco F1's successor, the Poco F2 Pro, is already receiving the MIUI 12 update, with owners across Europe, Indonesia, and Russia all receiving the stable update.

Miui 12 looks to much like iOS. Tested on my friend Mi9T.

Hey guys, it's been almost two years since I got my F1 at launch and I'm planning to change battery soon so that I can hopefully use it for another year or two.

Where's a good place to get a replacement battery? I've seen reports of fake batteries and even the reviews on Shopee and Lazada are a bit conflicting.

Best to find genuine one online and send to shop to repair?

Unless you got a heat gun to remove the back cover and replace the battery on your own. Saw vids on youtube not that difficult.
