What they were trying to say is in the future existing 30Mbps users like you will be bumped to 300Mbps at paying RM139. So compared to paying RM129 for 100Mbps is a downgrade.

If not mistaken ASUS RT-N12HP is only has 10/100 ports. You'll need to upgrade to a gigaport 10/100/1000 router.

The FW on Tenda AC18 is quite straight forward, what seems to be the problems for Unifi you speak of?
I'm on 800Mbps and using it as my main router for about 10 days now with no downtime, very stable. I'd say for an average home user the price tag of <RM300 it's quite a bargain.

I don't watch hyppTV and I have not tried. Perhaps try checking the with some other Tenda AC18 users if they have hyppTV running.

I placed the router at 2nd floor, at the back room and am able to still get 2 bars from the front which is nearly 20ft away. Downstairs below the room where the router is at gets 5 bars and moving slightly towards the hall which is 15-20ft then drops to 1 bar or disconnects.

From all your questions past couple days because you say you’re not tech savvy and when others are advicing you yet you query over and over again.

I honestly don’t know if you’ve plugged your NIC correctly as instructed into, the router or BTU.

Looks like your BTU is not configured to 1Gbps. Call TM and tell them you did all these test and concluded that the BTU is not configured for to receive gigabit connection.

Seriously? You’re asking this question again when we already pointed out to you the source of problem where it’s youre BTU. It supply’s the connection to your router then to your devices. Irregardless of speeds your laptop or router is capable of the main root comes from the BTU!
