FYI, just now got user replied contract-ended was ALLOWED to downgrade this new plan.

Yaloh, why Maxis and TIME allowed existing users (no matters contract-ing or contract-ed) also ALLOWED to upgrade/downgrade FREELY.
What's make so this bloody sucker crony company do WHATEVER them want?

First, limited to B40 users, now OPEN TO ALL!!
Second, Said Turbo for NEW users after 2019 (Banners also everywhere), now straight away give TURBO-AHEAD for new users.
Third, Promised turbo existing users from 18th Aug, now kept said Pilot Phase lah... what lah...

So there is a chance for users that subscribe this new rm129 100mbps to get turbo upgrade next year? 

anyone knows how long need to wait for the upgrade? I received the email in July under the first batch, but after 2 months, still nothing

because now they have 100MB at RM129, while i still paying like RM159 for 10MB....

Slowly upgrade to fibre..... Which probably means 5 years down thr road to unifi for everyone...

Wahh...u are a lucky man dude..me also have made a complaint this week..but didnt receive any upgrades..it juz a reply saying that i've been registered for the updates.

It shows 800Mbps in the Unifi portal this morning but I still have the old speed despite turning off the modem and router twice

After about two weeks with Turbo 800, these are several findings that I hope would assist you guys in making decision:

1. Turbo 800 is best suit for those who really do downloads, with the download rate of 90-100MB/sec you'll be able to download 
    1GB in 10 seconds 
    25GB in 4 minutes
    100GB in 17 minutes
    1TB needs around 3 hours

2. Youtube streaming straight away will go 4K quality if you use 4K TVs (without previously need to choose quality). The videos are instantly played and you could just jump to any part of the videos without any buffering.

3. Website surfing? As expected, the pages just pop up very quick and for locals one near instant, provided you computer are high end with abundant of RAMs.

4. IPTV streaming like the one I currently subscribe to European server loads very fast and immediately choose Full HD (1920 x 1080) quality. I just wish they offer 4K IPTV. No buffering with IPTV.

5. However all these only possible with gigabit router and ethernet/wireless cards. Otherwise you won't really enjoy these Turbo 800 capability.

For me, it's overkill as I mainly just streaming nowadays and only occasionally do downloads. I'm still waiting for TM to announce new packages for 300 and 500Mbps as I think these packages are more suit to my needs.

But till then, I'll just enjoy this Turbo 800

Would TM supply Cat6 cable when the technician comes and install new unifi in my house? Do we need to prepare our own Cat6 cable(s)?

what if you signed in with the turbo account at the location that not yet turbo, what speed will u get?

Do they supply any cable at all? They do not even supply normal RJ45 cable?

first I am still using streamyx 4mbps and intend to upgrade to Unifi Pro plan 100 MBPS RM129/month

I would like to know:-

1) Is Unifi Pro Plan 100 mbps RM129/month a turbo unifi plan?
No, you will not be getting any further turbo speed bump. 100Mbps is what you’re going to be getting. Because this new plan seems to be the old 10Mbps plan that has been rebranded to “turbo 100”

2) I dont have a TV and can I get a TV and install the HippTV later?
RM129 does not come with Hypptv STB. However you’ll be given Unifi playtv access viewable on your mobile. You can use chromecast that to a TV if you get one.

3) this thread had given a list of router best for turbo speed. Will Unifi give me one of the router on the list or I need to go buy myself?
TM will provide you with a router. I believe it will be the TP-link ac1200. It’s a so-so router if you’re not too picky else it is recommended that you invest in something better. Refer to pg1 for the list.

4) Which is one of the best router for my plan on the list so I can buy?
Again refer to the list on pg1, see which fits your budget.

i would like to know if my BTU support gigabyte connection for my turbo upgrade 800mbps?y BTU is huawei HG8240W. is it support up to 800mbps?i have read 1st page it said it supporr HG8240 Variant. that mean im supported right? kinda waiting for my new router tplink archer ac3150..

guys, i just got turbo to 800Mbps, but speed test only show some 2++Mbps.
Both on my hp and PC. 
What should i do? restarted modem few times already.

Possible they ‘purposely’ delay the Turbo upgrade and ‘silently’ encourage everyone to change plan to the new RM129 100mbps?

Since everyone is losing patience for the Turbo upgrade or not everyone needed such higher speed.
