So far no. Managed to check in Unifi website for turbo eligibility before it was taken down and it stated my update period will be Aug-Dec '18.

I am using TM stock router. So far my wireless is reasonable. My folks usually use their devices in the living room and bedrooms, all well covered. May not be 100% strength but good enough since they are using it for chat and web surfing. Not so much for streaming etc.
I am now wondering if I should upgrade to a more powerful one (although not the most powerful one) such as AC86U.

so far I used for 2 years and no issue..
if any issue then have to wait next trip and go back claim.. if only the power adapter issue then see if get if from shopee/lazada instead of wait for next trip.

i don't use the original TM router as it has only one antenna and not support 5Ghz, also does not have hardware acceleration

huh? you get upgraded but using the old modem?

please check your router (if you are using Asus) WAN port speed, or directly plug the cable from PC to their Fiber Modem, see the connection speed is 1Ghz or 100Mbps

if it is showing 100Mbps only, then you have no way to get higher speed until change the fiber modem.

Got email on 19July2018 for turbo up.. but until today still on 50Mbps.. anyone from Setapak got turbo-up?

Lol, AC86U is considered powerful already. You should actually, if you have many devices and is scheduled to get that speed upgrade.

Yes. You have to call them, if you not getting full turbo speed, and consider changing router too if possible.

Good luck. You will get decent speed, but if you have a bigger house or a house that has many walls, the DIR-850L will not be able to give you the turbo speed.

Okay, thanks, just checked, connection speed is only 100Mbps, called them, they said will send technician because after reset port also same speed. I guess its the old modem.
