Hi, is there any way I can extend my unifi wiring line? I mean currently my unifi line/wiring together with all the modem is located inside my master bedroom. But now I want to put the modem outside in the living room. The unifi fibre cable (which originates from outside my house) isn't long enough if I want to put all the modem and router in the living room.... So how can I extend the unifi fibre cable all the way to the living room? Thanks!

Seems like majority of upgrades happening now are from 30>300 and 50>500. Hardly see people reporting 100>800.

Yeah...  The BTU is Huawei HG8240H for me and router provided is DIR-850L. currently using extender Archer D7 for wifi use because the DIR-850L is really annoying. It tend to disconnect for 10mbps.

I will pin it if there are other comparison from other brands. It is a bit unfair to just have Asus routers there, without other choices.

Hi all, quite frustrated with my Unifi. Using the old provided TP-Link router (no 5 GHz, non-AC)

Complained to the customer service and they mentioned that it's a router fault and requires a change.

If it's truly the router issue, I'd be amazed 🤔

Today the whole day it's been down since morning. Anyone have a similar issue? How did you solve it? Thanks in advance!

I'm not a bro la.
We only got UniFi last year's May and I relocated my 50Mbps from PJ to Seremban. Then last year can upgrade to 100Mbps with additional RM 10. That said, it wasn't a smooth upgrade because my whole taman only our house was using 50Mbps (the rest were 30Mbps) and when they got order from my account to upgrade to 100Mbps, it was quite challenging for them. After two technical teams tweaking outside and inside of my house only got the speed I requested.

I'm quite pessimistic same thing will happen to my 800Mbps later, should be the only one in taman having this speed.

Has been a persistent problem. 🤔 Never thought of using a cooler. What's your setup like? Only issue is my router is mounted on the wall. Been like that since we upgraded to unifi.

Guess it's time to do a little bit more planning in terms of placement to fully maximise the range. The house is a bangalow so not much interference from other networks. None really in range.
