the statement is VERY vague.

IMO, possible points below:
1. TM will put everything on hold for the upgrade, will start in 1st Sept
2. TM already started the upgrade, should be complete for all subscriber by 1st Sept
3. TM will continue the upgrade from now till 1st Sept as much as possible, then on 1st Sept the remaining will have a big bang upgrade
4. There's no end date to it, as the statement "will commence on 1st September 2018", it's a begin date, not an end date, end date can be 2019 or longer, god who knows

Don't get caught in the vague statement guys, the point is we have a beginning date, there's no end date, even they assure there's an end date, i doubt they will meet the dateline, u know, Msia

I bet a lot will lodge complaint towards TM. Can you imagine if two household on 800 Mbps and they fully utilize and hogging the download speed. What about the other 30 residential surrounding them

NG-PON2 total network output 40gbps, which means able to cater 40 residents at 1gbps . This is the only solution for everyone to enjoy turbo upgrade

Recently I saw new Fiber install at main entrance of my taman.

This mean my taman get Unifi? Anyone who work at TM can confirm this?

Same question here, I got a nearest DP from my house like 350 Meters away, if including the line redundancy for hot weather then should be 365-420 Meters, it is just a Taman with UniFi, place at the left side of my Taman.

Is it possible to pull a long cable from this DP, jumping via like 4-8 of the TM pole, then connect my house? 
As I checked via UniFi Coverage website for all the ports for that whole taman, not a single DP/port are full, I wonder did they will just fxxk it for profit, and drag it for a single person on another Taman.

PS: Ya, I know they will list out all the unit number that supporting UniFi, but can they do this for a house not inside the system too?
PS2: Ya, sadly to discover not a single rich person in that Taman give a sxxt for UniFi, surprisingly.

Just saying, for TM Point in my town, they don't understand anything of this, they even claim the system showing it is 2M Streamyx for my Taman, even the live chat and the UniFi Coverage website showing it is 4M package max for my Taman.

So nope, seeking helps from TM point in my town is not a solution.

And ya, just ask me if you want me to provide the UnIFi addressID in order to provide helps, I can obtain it from rhombuscake which is hosted by that kind person, that website is very helps a lot for seeking which Taman got UniFi than the official UniFi Coverage website, which will tell you to refine it if >300 results.

Or also the DP number if required, I can go snap a picture, calculate how much the pole in between.

if like that better keep lor. my company uses old TM line. we only use unifi line for out going call. at our website also put the old TM line.

maxis say deploying fibre in coming months, once time has the access too, then thats could be end of tm monology.
