Got turbo-ed this afternoon, but the speed connectivity is very unstable.
Though the router im using is not capable to support 500Mbps, but i cannot even get bck my previous speed which is 50Mbps..
Mostly can only get download @ 30MB/s.. upload can reach max to 40MB/s..

What router are you using?

i read that.. not questioning why i cannot get full 500Mbps cause my router is pretty entry level, probably can only get max 100Mbps..
just saying the speed is not stable, download can only reach 20Mbps... (sometime less than 10Mbps)

before turbo-ed, i can get max speed at about 50Mbps all the time.
*
Probably the router cannot handle the new turbo-ed speed.
Try power OFF and ON the BTU and router again to test.

Provided that already turbo. Mine no news at all. So technically I am 30 mbps. How can that be a downgrade?
*
I agree with you on this.
Should be classified as upgrade.

The tmpoint cannot explain that. Keep saying their training say its downgrade. Cannot do there. Have to go to other tmpoint that don't open at night. Their say keep chasing ppl away. I sent there got 5 ppl asking, keep saying downgrade need to pay 200 penalty until I shut her off
*
Cannot blame them. They have been trained that way.
Hopefully they realise their mistake on this matter.

You or your sis' account is RYE2017, the RM10 upgrade? Check with TM because I asked 100 and they checked and said that I was not under contract. When I took the RM10 upgrade, there was a contract renewal. They even gave me a new C1200. I asked via email and got the same answer, out of contract. Hmmm.
*
I asked in live chat. Mine was RYE2017 with RM10 upgrade from 10 to 30. I have the contract until Dec 2019.

using control panel settings or run speed test?
sry about that, 1st time doing this
*
Connect your pc to BTU port 1 via LAN cable.
On your pc, go to Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network Connections, select the Ethernet port status.
Look for the speed.

Anyone in USJ/Subang Jaya turbo-ed? I was wondering why I didn’t get the first ‘you will be turbo-ed!’ email indicating the upgrade, then I check my email in my TM account and it was mistyped by the person I signed up with (so hard to type out email is it?). Is there no other way to check if I’m eligible?
*
I got mine turbo-ed on 16 August 2018 night. Location USJ.

The ports are gigabit but set to 100Mbps by TM. Not sure why they do that. And not for everyone. You can call 100 and see if they can get someone to set your BTU correctly. They may give you the "pilot phase" excuse not to do anything.

Second option is to persuade the BTU to stop working. You may need to provide some assistance. Then call 100 for a free replacement. Hopefully they new one will be configured as 1000Mbps.
*
I like your second option biggrin.gif

good for you. you able to utilize the speed. can you check your BTU port has 100mbps? - how to check: BTU Port 1, Lan Cable to desktop and check via Network Status.

I checked mine yesterday, only 100mbps. upgraded to 500mbps
*
Since his speedtest result is beyond 100Mbps, that means his BTU is on Gigabit.

my BTU is gigabit as well, why I'm always stuck at 100mbps, could not reach over 150.
*
Your BTU was configured for 100Mbps while his BTU was configured for Gigabit.
That's why he can get speed higher than 100Mbps.

Just got turbo-ed to 500mbps. I've read the green text on page 1 countless times and rechecked everything and nothing seems to pop to me as to why I'm only getting 92mbps - 95mbps download speeds on wired connection.

My equipment are as follows:
Modem: TMUnifi-issued HUAWEI HG8240w (Cat5e cable connecting to router)
Router: ASUS RT-N12HP
Ethernet cable from router to PC: Cat5e LAN cable off Lazada https://goo.gl/tP4Zo6 (bought not too long ago, highly doubt its the issue?)

Another thing is, 1st page green text point number 4 on 'Your router is not configured or correctly, which limits your connection speed to 100Mbps, instead of 1000Mbps.', how do I reconfigure my ASUS router to support 1gigbit? Thanks in advance.

My story with Unifi. smile.gif

I got Turbo  from 30 Mbps to  300  on Sunday  9Sept    @ USJ  biggrin.gif

There was no SMS or mail notification .
i log in my unifi account  .and notice change from  RYE 2017 30 Mbps    to Turbo 300 Mbps.
I didnot  power reset  my wireless router    Asus  AC1300  . its auto restart  itself at about 4am  that morning .
I highly recommended this router cost about 500 RM  , no issues so far and  works like a breeze !    and great  for  a medium double storey  link house.  .
My router is on the ground floor  and i can get signal strength of about  -65 dbm in my master bedroom and all rooms up stairs.
I tested the speed  with my samsung S7  on AC  wireless  getting 310 Mbps , ping 3ms .

Today 12 Sept,  1100 AM    i went to TM Point in USJ  .
I downgrade to the  new 100 Mbps package @129 rm  with 2 years contract.

I was told by the girl  there is no penalty for upgrade or downgrade for all cases .
and my downgrade will be effective  within 24 hours.
Now  at 3.30 PM  ,  I notice  they have downgrade my speed to 100Mbps  !!
Speed test now  give me  110 Mbps , ping  4 ms.
mean TM only took  4 hours to downgrade me.  rclxms.gif

How much were you paying for your 30Mbps plan?
Were you on Ultimate pack?
Do you have Voice pack?
