Price competition aside, I really hate that long term contract. Back in streamyx day, it was 1 year contract. Why do all fiber offerings have minimum 2 years contract?

Whereas there are lots of us whose paying RM189, RM229 & even RM329 for 100Mb/s

30Mbps for RM 139, I think can wait and be patient. Those paying more for 100Mbps and 30Mbps/50Mbps now are the ones raging.

Most people would accept the low bitrate quality as long as the video clip they are watching is being streaming continuous without any hiccup, that is, until they have seen the image quality of ultra high definition, which usually change their mind and begin to demand better faster internet connection.

To be fair, anyone who lives in urban area now would require internet  for most of the daily activities to function smoothly.
A fast connection would save time and allows more work to be done.

Legacy VIP5 users currently at 30 Mbps or higher who kiamsiap reject everything in due course will enjoice at least 300 Mbps (after turbo upgrade) at RM149 before SST without contract. Only 'lose' to those who subscribed to 30 Mbps at RM139 recently. And IIRC still have free unlimited TM to TM landline calls.

actually that is the main reason why I sub 30mbps this Feb 2018.

Yup legacy VIP5 is TM to TM only. So if sub RM139+20 I get Free calls 600mins regardless to which telco.

Because one of my relative just change to Maxis line @ end of 2017, calling him will cost money; phone bill alone already >RM10(add VIP5 bill =>RM159), might as well Sub RM139+20 package lol

hi guys, using 100mbps and paid rm260 now. should i downgrade it to rm129? or wait for speed upgrade?

Agree to that. I on 100m plan now got receive email in 1st phase upgrade turbo. But until now nothing happen in my end. Since they launch the new plan rm129 for 100mb while maintaince all the same thing with my contact now (i pay rm229 on RYE2017 unifi pro). I would think to downgrade to rm129 plan while i don't think my current router (ac66u-b1) would carried 800mb max.

U must be an existing 100Mbps user. Mine is 30Mbps. Keep this suggestion to yourself.

Called 100 yesterday, was told that he's from technical team. I asked if anyone can help me with the upgrade, he told me only 'technical team' can help expedite my upgrade. So I asked him to help me. He then paused and stuttered as he spoke the next few words: "I'm sorry I cannot help you." @@

Last time if we were to change from streamyx to unifi, our landline number would be forced to change right? My datin aunt told them she was datin then they were like: " Aiyoh Datin, you should have told me earlier..." and helped her keep the number. I am not but let's say I am a Dato' would indicating my rank give me an upperhand in this case? (Just curious ah)
