For those models with a ~ symbol means it can reach that speed but under really optimum conditions

I suggest editing it based on actual throughput for consistency sake. Asus is making claims based on realistic figures. Else users would be buying a C1200 and expecting it to run up to 500Mbps.

Edit: Tested on a laptop with a 3x3 1300Mbps on 5Ghz Wifi card.

As for thoughts articulation, mine's pretty clear and it's not my fault that you find it hard or impossible to grasp. So before you go all Rambo with your keyboard, best you take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and evaluate the reasonings thet led you here. My stance on TM has been clear and firm.. I wasted 2x RM300-ish for useless dl**k modems in my streamyx days.

Got myself an RT-AC86U and it improved my streamyx connection. Butter-smooth when paired with my oldie Aztech (2009) ADSL modem.

After Unifi came in, I setup AiMesh with a 2nd AC86U and it gave me stable connection ever since.

No worries bro, I’m not relying on TM router as I’m using ASUS RT-AC87U and I’m very happy with it. I’m waiting for my upgrade to 800mbps which is due before end of this year and when Tm check my account, they couldn’t find my router details as it was blank in the system. They ask my the router which I was using and I provided them the details. Then their reply was “ Ini macam, tak payah tunggu sampai Dec 2018 phase 1 upgrade, Kita akan inform turbo team Yang you Guna router sendiri Asus -87U Yang memang Sedia ada boleh support 800 mbps no problem dan kawasan you infrastructure untuk 800mbps pun boleh support”. Kita akan beritahu turbo team as we already have your router information.

He also said, if you depend Tm
To provide you their stock router for 800mbps it will take time and that’s why many haven’t got their 800mbps yet.

have your own NAS, where you can host your own songs, videos and files, no more thumbdrives. You can host your own website locally, perhaps for your CV, you can host games, we can have more datacenters in malaysia and perhaps ask netflix, amazon video and more to allow us to see their geo restricted videos and also host them here too rather than in singapore. Have hubs for many games in SEA hosted in Malaysia rather than singapore or china. Malaysia needs to offer better than singapore and thailand, then internet here will be cheaper.

Got my upgrade since 3 days ago and just noticed it after a router restart. No notifications no nothing. Did a speed test and got exactly what Unifi said - http://speedtest.net/result/7601527561

But on IDM, I only got 30MB/s max. So, I think 500mbps is really not necessary.

Any idea how to downgrade to Unifi Lite? If I downgrade today, do I entitle to 100mbps upgrade?
