What did you request?
Wah, reduce to RM 159 but no Turbo? Sad.

So, eventually still RM 189 now?
If you followed my progress, I managed to get RM 179 and not RM 159 because system didn't allow.
*
I requested Lite to Basic since last week.
Next day, Manager said OK, HQ also OK, now every staffs in my TMpoint was updated. But need go change plan in TM system and thumbprint to proceed.

TRIPLED THE INTERNET & HALVED THE PRICE, can saving RM50 monthly and 60GB QUOTA only apply in NEXT YEAR...

Then visit TMpoint to proceed, as need your verification and thumbprint.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2018, 05:13 PM)
I even said I don't mind contract refreshed if RM 159, she apologised that can't do much now. tongue.gif

Not very sure on this tho, I went to TM Point for transfer ownership together with downgrade to 100mbps Rm129.

In my opinion, better to visit TMpoint and discuss directly with them, they might offer you better plan or alternative.

transfer ownership need pay?

If 60gb quota only enforce next year, then why didnt u subscribe maxis ?!
Ltr u must topup to unlimited quota unless theres a backlash (probably)
*
hmmm, topup?
Well it's not in my plan, 60gb is more than enough for my small family, was plan to upgrade again to 50Mbps rm99 later if needed.

QUOTE(mylinear @ Sep 13 2018, 08:07 PM)
Where does it state that quota only applies from next year? Or is that what customer service  or TMPoint  said?
*
inside new faq, pls read it all.

Mine is 2-3 hours but need manually reboot... sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE(StuartLee2015 @ Sep 14 2018, 12:43 AM)
no no it's okay, i don't know the variant or what it differences is...

So i tried many speed test over the phone, pc and tab

I can't get about the same speed as LAN, eg: 70+ Mbps

I tap on the SSID on my phone, it shows 72 Mbps, when i speed test it, it max about 27 Mbps...

you know what's wrong?

- Router is already RGX4400
*
Read below...

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 14 2018, 12:51 AM)
Yes.
*
WOW, you still helping him even so many days? Thought you throw towel lio?

Actually he only need hire a PC guy from a shop, then extend fiber cable from socket to CENTER of his house, then get a new ROUTER to cover whole house with wifi 5Ghz.
Of course using CAT6 cable connecting BTU-Router.
To enjoy faster wifi, he also need at least 2 AP in front and back of his house...

Apparently he don't understand what's we talking about, and UNABLE to do it himself too.

QUOTE(Ebony & Ivory @ Sep 14 2018, 01:14 AM)
no, maybe they want to check the fiber optic cable / fiber distribution box condition.

the only way to make sure is to contact 100 or tm point.

Nah, maybe he not in HSBB zone, or unable to upgrade 100Mbps? just idea...

LOL,now you did cat5e test and reset port, why not you just trust me again with buy new router?

Yes, it's expensive but that is only way to cover your 20x80 house with turbo wifi speed.

Do you think ipV6 causes the speed problem when he did the speedtest?
He is on ipV6.

Not think so got impact for his case...
However I've turn-off IPv6 then become smoother internet, just decreased buffet-bloat and stability but not speed.

Upon checking at my activity tab, it shows order currently processing with 'PONR'. What's does that mean? Is it Point of No Return?

Lol... I tested with short cable to see if I got 400+ but no. I placed my router at the edge of the table also cannot improve.

And isn't a kitchen, kitchen is at the rear. This is my dining hall?
*
rclxs0.gif rclxs0.gif
Bye, I'm also done with you..
Like it or not, even change better router also WILL NOT improve your wifi unless fixing another AP.

QUOTE(taqu @ Sep 14 2018, 01:19 PM)
Several methods to do this:
1. One powerful, expensive router to cover the entire house
2. Single router, multiple Wifi APs, connected by gigabit cables, or Powerline adapters
3. Single router, multiple Wifi APs, connected by Powerline adapters
4. Mesh Wifi system (including ASUS AI Mesh)

All 3 methods have pros/cons:

1. Easiest to do. Still doesn't guarantee great Wifi speed across entire house.
2. Great Wifi speed everywhere. Harder to config. Need to lay cables.
3. Great coverage & good Wifi speed everywhere. Powerline subject to electrical interference.
4. Great Wifi speed everywhere if correct mesh position. Easy config.
*
1 router cannot cover his house except 2.4Ghz 20Mhz only...
Powerline might be too slow for him, later kept ask here again... (Not suit for 2-phase or 3-phase)
I'm doubt he can install AP(s) himself.
