missed the deadline by 1 day? but dateline stated there 31Decemeber2018.

This was something like last year bonanza campaign, put promo end 31dec but 'tm reserves the right to cancel anytime'. They did the same thing this year.

My agent told me like some morning they were just informed only that they have until 9am for last application, then tm cancel. sad.gif

Its probably because the demand was too good, and tm didnt want to lose money

300-400 is short distance which is close to your router and without obstacles...
Otherwise 2.4Ghz will be good around 100-200Mbps since you're quite far away from router.
*
How do ppl get so high on 2.4ghz....

So, no ways to get faster than 60% then? what's if get 3x3 router?
Just RM53* for site-visiting?
*
My 4x4 aztech gr7008 can only nego with devices max 866mbps due to many 2x2 devices around the area. But 866mbps can get up to 520mbps download, 600mbps upload using a 3x3 client... which ya arnd 60% download max lol

But on a 2x2 client only max arnd 400mbps. So yes number of streams matters.

520 divided by 866 = 0.60046189376443418013856812933025 ----> 60%

Ya. But 4x4 client probably higher percent for same link speed.

Magnet link? Looks like DHT being block. I'm facing the same thing with a popular highly illegal torrent. Start another torrent like Ubuntu or whatever. Hopefully someone else you connect to is downloading the same thing. Peer exchange will do its thing and connections will multiply like rabbits in no time.
*
Wa tm really stupid to block dht, only going to make all bandwidth go overseas and clogging up the international pipe even more lol

Indian isp the best, they run seedboxes to save on international bandwidth haha

Hi, i just got turbo'ed to 800mbps.

Currently still using the dlink DIR-850L provided by tm.
I understand the this model won't be able to deliver the full speed mentioned on wifi but able to do so on wired.

I tested when connected directly to the router, i get 800mbps+- speed, but problem occur when i try it via my tplink home plug (av1200), supposedly it supported up to 1200mbps (on paper) on gigabit lan, but when go through it i can only reach a maximum speed of 100mbps++.
Im not quite sure it is due to the structure of the wiring of house or it is the limitation of the said homeplug.

Is there any way to test it ?

*The cable that I used with it is CAT5E, tested can get full speed if connected directly at the router.
*
Screw the homeplug. Run your own cat6 around the house or get a more powerful router

Nope. You can’t surf the net, and you still need a router. It is just mainly for testing purposes to see if your BTU supports gigabit speed for now.

Have another question:
Never tried this setup before. If I connect my laptop directly to the BTU, I can immediately surf the net? Any setup required? (eg. need to enter username and password manually like in the router page)
*
You can. Your nic must support vlan tagging and u have to set the pppoe dialing settings and vlan 500 before u can surf.

Maybe its oso good to check turbo speed direct from btu, ruling out router issues (your cpu better be good tho)

I did this and didn't even get a call, made a report to SKMM straight away. Because I'm paying 329 for 100mbps while others are paying 159/189. I did asked for a discount but they proudly refuse.
