There is no 40Mhz-only or 80Mhz-only settings.
When one sets the highest channel width, it means devices that can handle higher channel width will make use of it while device that cannot will fall back to lower channel width.

Example, I set 80Mhz on my router, yet my phone with 20Mhz support still can connect just fine.

The underlined statement above actually refers to 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac protocol selection rather than channel width.

I am planning to pull a cable from my router to my room from ground floor to first floor of my house.
As shown below, i will stick the lan cable with Unifi cable and tv antenna cable together and following the same path to the space between roof and ceiling, and then go down to my room.
May i know can i use any cat6 utp cable that is long enough? or should I use shielded cable? If i run these cable together will they interfere with each other?

If they want to get as many new users as possible, that's the least they can do, offered as many plans as possible so people can choose, rather than wait and see will the turbo magically appear... I'm still waiting to see if someone managed to downgrade their package from 800mbps / 500mbps to 300mbps...

If you are staying on landed property you should get 100Mbps. However if you are staying in apartment, you may not get the full download speed. It depends on the connection from the building riser to your properly.

But Puchong is quite special for Maxis fixed-line business. Some areas in Puchong already covered by Maxis fixed-line (03-5882xxxx) since late 1990s! Maxis should have their own infra there and not necessarily rent from TM.
