5years for OLED? mine C9 the edge burnt during 2years+ lucky got senq +1year lol. they change new panel for me, but everything else maintain. Actually the new panel came in, first also everything looks bad, then they bring the TV back there change another timing board, only can run properly.

recheck the 2023 TCL spec offer, Their C745 spec is very similar to my china TCL T7G series i bought last year october. in compare to price i think china price would still offer better value.

been used more than 6 month still very happy with my purchase.

China dont have Google TV and warranty wise will be a headache if anything happens

most who willing to spend on a TV would not take the risk

China models are different hardware and other things (no Google Play store).
Are you getting any firmware updates ?

From my used, i dont need google TV as i can run some apps that support HDR, 4k, IMAX play back is good enough for me.
so far side load apps no issue, kodi dint try. i still can play china TV original content some free movie.
Warranty, i dont care much as long as nothing break during open box and no dead cell, further more normally warranty only cover 1 year.

As for hardware my TV spec is similar to C745 spec, Google play ot TV is not important for me.
Firmware is regular auto update, current firmware is V8-T652T01-LF1v426.

Similar is not same...T652T01 not same as T615T03.

TCL remote sucks big time especially the D pad/navigational buttons. Sometime when you click one of the direction button once, the cursor will move many steps instead of one step. This happens quite frequently though not every time. Not sure whether this is remote hardware issue or something else.

Mine C8 power on time reaching around 12,000 hours. So far came across with USB port problem during first year of used. LG service technicians first accidentally replaced my tv logic board with the alpha version (demo) to resolved the issue but not realized there was no tv tuner function. Out of no choice, I had to personally dropped into their service center in PJ to demand their service manager for new logic board and issue resolved (1 month of frustration). Other than that incident, I am having the best experience of OLED picture quality every minutes of 4K content together with my home theater 5.2.4.1(extra channel for voice of god) dolby atmos setup.

Edit: Got a reply from TCL, they say C835 in July too. Maybe they meant C845.

C845 is the replacement for C835. So I guess we will be getting C845 straight

Hi All Sifus, need your opinion here.

I'm currently dilemma on which model to choose, either P725 or C716.

Both of them about the same price and I haven't got a chance to view the actual TV 😞

Currently using a FHD Hisense TV which giving me lining issue and mostly covered by yellow lines so looking for a decent and good quality TV 😉

After I did some googling, but not sure which one better and lesser problem.

P725 is NOT QLED, got MEMC.
C716 is QLED, got NO MEMC.

This TV is for my mum to watch Kdrama on non-Netflix or any paid platform via TV Box

P725 will do, unless ur parents can differentiate Dobly Vision vs HDR10 vs basic 4K.
