No samsung becos no dolby vision lol

Perhaps Samsung was thinking why do I need DV when it can't show what's their tv is capable of doing.

DV suppress brightness and Samsung selling point is brightness.

Samsung has stated that it wouldn’t support Dolby Vision due to added manufacturing costs and an additional license fee – though also because it trusts its own TV processing system and hardware, which it says can optimise HDR10 images without the need for Dolby Vision. Samsung, therefore, decided to support the royalty-free dynamic metadata HDR system HDR10+ exclusively.

It doesn't matter DV can support upto 10000 nits. DV is an active HDR which is made to suppress brightness for so called creator intention. To be honest, sometimes it made the dark scene really hard to watch in dim light.

Pre-order of C845 probably will be delay until end July due to slow in progress for the local certification.

65C845 price around RM 6,000
75C845 price around RM 8,699

Definitely well below your dream price of RM 10,000 and much much below than the Australia SRP.

I think QNED91 PQ far below the C845.

I can only think of Sammy QN95B to match the PQ. Sammy too pricy and no Dolby Vision is no no.....

Hisense U8H is also in my shopping cart. Unfortunately, they are no news of them of bringing this model into Malaysia.

recheck the 2023 TCL spec offer, Their C745 spec is very similar to my china TCL T7G series i bought last year october. in compare to price i think china price would still offer better value.

been used more than 6 month still very happy with my purchase.

Edit: Got a reply from TCL, they say C835 in July too. Maybe they meant C845.

yeah china get the best, then US. EU and our market same model. but seem like they also follow global now for US.

This TCL malaysia seriously not serious. Their official shopee store chat person says C835 (suppose C845) going to come this year July.
I think they did not get latest information from top management.
