Better look closely on the fine print of their return policy. Change of mind not applicable for most Taobao item. And Taobao isn't exactly ecart service rather than China sellers hiding behind them. Direct Tmall is around Rm20 more but they allow local return if item is damaged.

If lazada allows easy return or refund + cheaper , i will prefer buying from lazada over tmall

if damage, you can return. Just initiate the return process.
Only drawback is you need to bring the item back to drop point.

bought a china android tv + dvb-t2 box, receive after 8 days and it freezed when watching dvb-t2 channel every 30 mins, tipu product. ask lazada about return they just tell me to initiate return and will proceed to revalidate my voucher, should be receiving an email in two days.
