If something like amazon it's more on 4 parties problem.Seller , Amazon policy , shipping company and Buyer.
If there is a policy like

1. Seller need to record the the packing process to seller + sticking a special wrapping plastic.
2. Amazon setting up a cloud storage for seller and buyer uploaded.
3. Amazon should request seller/buyer to buy an Insurance for shipping if item price is above > 500-1k or something.If item receive , the insurance 99.7% $ will be release back to both buyer/seller.(Insurance take 0.3)
4. Buyer should record unboxing video process and tested working product and can be upload to amazon cloud
5. If buyer doesn't want the product and still unwrap - deduct 0.5% of the product price.If unbox deduct any amount %<10% set by seller.Deducted will be return to seller

Simple.All parties fair.
Example product defected -Hard disk , Glass broken and etc all cover by insurance company and insurance claim from the shipping company.Who call the shipping company simply through my LED tv and spoil it.Can't they handle product incare ?
Fake product is common - USB , external hard disk and etc , depends on the return policy , keep it or penalty the seller.If seller conned from the distro then file a dispute on the distro.


There is no 100% but at lease can minimize.There will be more of cases like this because of handling issue and fake items and greedy seller/buyer.

It is Lazada problem since Ali buy the who laz.The item on the cart still free shipping from china.All the local seller never take out the shipping price.

Example ,

1. China seller -> Cost rm15+commission -> Shipping to Malaysia and direct to buyer rm15 = RM30
2. Local seller -> Cost rm14 -> Shipping to Malaysia direct to seller rm15 -> below 1kg seller bear the shipping rm5 direct to buyer -> earn extra rm2 (because laz commission )-> rm36
3. Laz set this month no free shipping but remove commission
4. Local seller never remove the (bear shipping rm5 and commission ) and maintain rm36 + laz shipping rm4.90 = RM 40.90
5. China seller still rm30 because they direct shipped to buyer

So as result problem arise.Laz going to earn back the $ though shipping cost but no more commission for seller for certain item.

Problem are directed to Local seller who didn't minus shipping cost and commission.

So that is how Laz going to side China seller ?

Guess online business need to change platform again due to shipping issue.If a screen protector RM10 need Rm 4.90 shipping.It's really matter a lot or a any item below RM 20 with shipping cost = 25% increase .

You can't choose to do pos express for a screen protector or change to other courier service since those courier service is set and arrange by laz.

Now I just worry , SST comes . Seller never remove the commission + shipping and add the 10% price for the item or 6% for the service.

That is how someone discuss SST will get more price increase than GST.
Because seller stack all together without removing the old GST stack

Although it's for lazada thread , it is also related to reputation on lazada.Store merchant are allow to delete comment , remove rating , fake rating and etc.
In order to cope , buyer protection , lazada offer 14 satisfaction guarantee.

But , it's too late if Buyer use a voucher offer by lazada and the item was faulty and to be return.The refund voucher will not be offer to buyer like 20% RM80.
Thus , it's extremely hard for new buyers or member here to keep track on those reputation store.The best is go for official store to buy the specific item.
Now the question is , who really going to buy at official store where the price is xx% higher than usual.Official store are usually same price as retail.

After all , we buyer just wanted to buy at the affordable range of an item with voucher and not to have hope lost buying from bad reputation store and lost the voucher with all of the refund process hassle and etc.
