No need to worry, they will take 2 weeks to 1 month or more to issue refund. if u impatient then feel free to call them everyday.

Btw just curious what u bought?

Read the description again whether someplace mentioned box will be unsealed to stick screen protector or seller mentioned "message if you want to ownself stick screen protector".

Im not sure how Lazada will handle such cases because the return policy clearly stated "return with seal intact or similar" so your return might get rejected.

Huawei and Samsung seller tend to unseal the phone to activate warranty (get extra incentive) before send out to customer, or maybe its their way to make return rejected by Lazada? im not sure..

Best for u to contact live chat before u return it otherwise u will just waste 1-2 weeks to return and get rejected.
Worst if ur phone kena switched by courier or maybe lazada insider... yes i kena once return a phone but rejected and when received back the parcel turned out to be a fake and broken xiaomi powerbank.

All in all, dont need to argue coz some ppl might prefer to pay lower and take risk without warranty while some dont mind pay higher price for easier warranty procedure.


Although imo it would be great if that person that claimed can ship back to Amazon for warranty and get shipping reimbursement to actually open a topic (perhaps at hardware zone?) and give a clear guidance about the procedure.

yeah right "accidentally" like piap piap huh? The driver just lazy to go ur area, hoping to get more parcels to the same area and go together.

Seller contacted me and I clearly do not want to cancel since I am ok to wait.

Ended up chatting with Lazada live chat person - not helpful, just keep saying sorry, ask for some proof/screenshot, but nothing useful.

I ended up emailing their top management on Thursday, and the next day their CS team called me and said sorry for canceling, and that they have taken note of my agreement with the seller, and issued me a voucher for the same amount (hint: flash code for 11.11).

(sorry, for those that want the top management email, I promised them in my email that I won't share it, but with some homework you all can figure it out la ya.)

So, for those of you who are buying things and you're willing to wait... I think it will be a good strategy to:

1. Inform Lazada via live chat of your situation and that you are in touch with the seller.

2. Tell them you're willing to wait and in agreement with seller... give screenshot if necessary, insist if you have to.

3.Inform Lazada that the seller has already confirmed new stock is arriving soon and that as a buyer you have agreed to wait. Then inform Lazada to make sure they DO NOT CANCEL your order.

Otherwise, Lazada will automatically cancel orders if sellers can't meet a certain timline, then you'll have to call customer service, refund, voucher, blablabla damn waste of ball time.

But make sure you review honestly and dun cb say no stock, slow delivery, lousy service, etc la.

I believe Lazada's system does this in an honest fashion to prevent anger and frustrating experiences.

Hope my 2 sen here helps some of you and prevents issues like this happening to sellers and buyers. Also good strategy to remember for future sales when selling spikes and stock cannot match the sudden demand.

Afaik the system will auto cancel if seller does not ship out on time, same as Shopee system. This should be seller's fault since they do not have ready stock they should set the delivery date longer.
I see possible loophole to pakat (or self dupe) to get voucher lol.

just kepoh how much did the voucher worth? and what item u bought?
