I'm using it to churn Airmiles. Using M2CP

Cashback is a short term gain. Not interesting. But Business Class ticket is exceptional gain
*
may I know what is M2CP?

do you mind sharing how much air miles needed to buy a business class ticket? thank you.

So after studying for a bit, just want to post this here to confirm if I got this right. Here my "ranking" for best CC to use to top up BigPay. Also added requirement to own one and minimum spend to maximize CB. This is just assuming max CB for that month.

1. MBB FCB VS (10% in May and August) - Top Up RM 1,000 for RM 100 CB
Min Annual Income: RM 48,000
Minimum Spending: N/A
Annual Fee: Free

2. PBB Visa (6%) - Top Up RM 634 for RM 38 CB
Min Annual Income: RM 80,000
Minimum Spending: N/A
Annual Fee: RM388 (1st Year Free, Swipe 12 times for waiver for subsequent years)

3. PBB Quantum Master (5%) - Top Up RM 600 for RM 30 CB
Min Annual Income: RM 36,000
Minimum Spending: N/A
Annual Fee: Free

4. SCB Just One Platinum (3.4%) - Spend RM 2,500 for RM 85 (15% of RM 567, Other spending of RM 1,933 no CB)
Min Annual Income: RM 24,000
Minimum Spending: RM 2,500
Annual Fee: RM 250 (1st Year Free, Swipe RM 20,000 for waiver for subsequent years)

5. SCB Cashback Platinum (3.3%) - Top Up RM 1,500 for RM 50 (5% of RM 1,000, Other spending of RM 500 no CB)
Min Annual Income: RM 24,000
Minimum Spending: RM 1,500
Annual Fee: RM 175 (1st Year Free, Swipe RM 20,000 for waiver for subsequent years)

6. AmBank True Visa (3%) - Top Up RM 1,000 for RM 30 CB
Min Annual Income: RM 36,000
Minimum Spending: N/A
Annual Fee: Free

Others I don't think worth mentioning la.

Anything that I missed out? Other drawbacks / Wrong information / Other worthy mentions
For a kuli like me, RM 3k Salary / Not much spending per month, I think my personal ranking would be:

1. PBB Quantum Master
2. AmBank True Visa
3. SCB Cashback Platinum
4. SCB Just One Platinum

Others out of range for me la hahaha.

P/S: Anyone tried using this for the auto-debit for TIME Fibre? I saw a post that mentions they were charged additional RM 1 for registering auto-debit but haven't saw any updates on it.
*
nice effort to compile this. thumbup.gif

Another way is to earn "indirect cash back", meaning top up BP to meet the minimum spending of the CC and earn the cash back from other expenses.

For example, HLB WISE. Spend petrol 300, groceries 600, mobile 100 + BP 1,000 can earn RM100 CB
Hong Leong WISE (10% on petrol, groceries, mobile) - Top Up RM 1,000 for RM100 CB
Min Annual Income: RM 24,000
Minimum Spending: 2,000
Annual Fee: 250

is it worth the effort to use BP to earn airmiles instead of cash back?

how much airmiles minimum to redeem a return ticket to Hong Kong or Taipei?

Ya, 3+3 is what i am thinking too.
You use CB CC to top up BP, then spend from BP. Then you get both CB and air miles. No? Correct me if i am wrong.

Minimum to redeem you can judge from here
*
do you mean BP earn encirh miles? I am not sure whether BP can earn enrich miles or not.

from the thread discussion, only can choose either CB CC or Miles CC. Pls share share

Browsing through many pages.

Is BigPay ban a person account for frequent withdrawal?
*
imo, beside only withdrawal, if can use it for some retail transaction is better.

suggest like reload from Quantum Master rm600 and other cc to max cash back. so don't need to monitor whether exceed the max cash back.
then for dining or online, use BP

Statement date at 10th every month. Need to swipe right after that as it is first come first serve.
*
do you mean 10th is the first day of refresh cash back pool?
Pebbie did reload at 16th but also can't get cash back.

The cash back pool is so limited.

The unfortunate finally happened sad.gif
I managed to withdrew 3k from different RHB branch before, but went to RHB Midah, first ATM to check balance then withdraw 4k, failed, then tried 3k also failed, then move to second ATM, check balance again, and tried 3k, it failed, to my surprise it retained my card!!! ranting.gif  vmad.gif  bangwall.gif  mad.gif
so maybe not to use the try and error method with RHB bank, hassle to go bank during working hour to get the card  doh.gif  bye.gif
*
did you able to get back the card if ask RHB staff?
or need to freeze the card at BP app and request a new one?

Reported fairylord
HSBC ATM - 1 Utama (2 machines can withdraw RM100 notes).. I w/draw RM2.5k only.
The ATM will state what RM100/RM50/RM10 notes it will dispense on the main screen.

When I did the withdrawal it ask from which account to withdraw from
1. Credit Card (Advance Cash)
2. Current
3. Savings

I selected Option 3 ... no extra charge except the RM6 by BigPay
*
I have the similar options when withdraw from Maybank ATM. I chose Savings.
