Just got my card today!

Registered it on Saturday, shipped on Monday night, got it on Tuesday...

That's quicker than I expected.

Not the case for my friend, referred to 2 persons, both got the card activated but he didn't get prompted.

Is bigpay auto debit working fine in AIA insurance this month? Previous months are fine but this month until today also hasn't do the auto debit?
Anyone having the same issue this month?

short answer: just back from RHB branch and got back my card.

First the RHB CS told me whatever card held in ATM cannot be returned and will be send to card issuer, so I need to contact card issuer myself.
I asked her, what if it is oversea card? are you going to send back as well? then she asked me to look for officer in charge of ATM behind teller counters.

at first the officer told me the same, asked me the card got my name or not, if told her no, then she said it's probably due to MEPS failed to verify my name, and the card is blocked (this is not true, BP does not use MEPS Network at all, its going though Mastercard Network instead)    hence ATM retained the card, and can't they just can't return me the card as they won't be able to verify owner of card, then I told her I know the last 4 digit of card and you have CCTV, your ATM took my card without my permission, why should I pay for card replacement fees? 

Then she went to open the ATM for the card, and called BP to verify ownership, in turn the BP called me back in few mins to do verification before releasing info to RHB officer (and she asked BP if the card is blocked or active! lol!!!). very well done for prompt action from BP CS, sorry I didn't get his name 

Finally I got my card after RHB verify IC with thumbprint and signed for acknowledgment.

If all failed, perhaps need to "remind" them feedback to HQ/BNM.

PS. I confirmed the card is usable as I made a withdrawal from CIMB some mins ago.

how did you get back your card from rhb last time?
its common for prepaid / debit card without name, I think it is RHB's procedure issue.

Receiving SMS while roaming is free for all Telcos

Roaming is free for Maxis.
Only calls (inbound and outbound), SMS outbound and Data incur cost.

If you turn on roaming without using any of the above activities, you won't be charged at all, because inbound SMS (OTP) is free.

the keyword here is 'data'.

Once you turn on Data Roaming, the RM38/day will automatically kick in and you'll have all the bundled entitlement comes with that, regardless whether you use it or not.

The experience I shared earlier is pertaining to Hotlink prepaid and it's proven, too.
If you are postpaid, better double check with the CS by highlighting NO Data Roaming.

how long need to wait after reload rm20. My card status is "Printing" for more than 2 days. So hard to print this card????

I can confirmed for SCB JOP BigPay reload is counted as e-commerce. Just receive and redeem the RM85 cash back

tried to reload starbucks card with bigpay using starbucks website which is processed by MOLPay.
Received error message as below upon key in the card no.

Proceed to pay, receive otp but the payment page logout automatically after keyin otp and no transaction appear in bigpay.

But Starbucks card reload also MOL.. no issue with the reload using bigpay

Yes, the HSBC VS campaign extended, but I had been monitoring my transaction from HSBC VS->BigPay and seems the new MCC code no longer valid for 5x point. It only gave out 1x point for the transaction.

Update to my situation: I was instructed to freeze my BP card and send in a dispute resolution form (done).

No idea how an ATM withdrawal attempt (for RM1,500 at CIMB at 3.41am!) could have been made without my card.

I really don't dare to load significant amounts into my card anymore.  While I understand that technical glitches can happen, it is pretty scary when you see an unrecognised ATM withdrawal!

Feels very insecure about this card. Received a notification this morning saying my balance is low ask me to topup. Open up the app and to my horror it shows a RM3k withdrawal i never did today. The card balance becomes negative.

They reversed the transaction already. So now back to positive balance.
