Check if you have the confirmed AirAsia itinerary issued and sent to your email? Sometimes it's the payment confirmation page that failed to load, not the payment itself.

Final call sale held 2 months before travel period which allows Big points redemption + top-up with cash to buy discounted tickets (usually short regional travels).

This happens when Grab is unable to process the transaction with the payment card linked to your Grabpay account. It should be fine after you have cleared the pending transaction by trying again or using other cards.

Same here, just experienced this at around 12.15pm.

Edit: under Bigpay transactions, the failed attempts are listed there with strikethrough, but funds were NOT deducted...phew

Yea, I also reattempted to reload Boost with Bigpay at 4.59pm and still failed. Earlier I had no problem with reloading via MBB card.

I couldn't proceed to OTP page when reloading BP account with Maybank card and it showed "Top-up Failed". Is it system-wide down for reloads for now?

So far so good with Paypal payments (Bigpay linked to Paypal account)? Looks like there are no complaints here on unsuccessful transactions via this method. Thinking of using BigPay as my primary card for Paypal payments.

Failed to receive OTP when I tried to use BigPay on Foodpanda. "Resend OTP" option is very much needed in this kind of situation. BigPayJonathan

What we do notice while using BigPay overseas is that the exchange rate is more competitive than money changer MOST of the time. So even if there are rare times when money changer rate wins, we still won't be affected too much, presumably if our spending amount is not too huge.

Theoretically yes, but practically not very feasible. By doing so you earn a differential of 0.5% only, that's RM5 for every RM1000. You need to do carry lots of cash back in suit cases from Japan to make it worthwhile, but that also means you will need to declare cash at customs and might invite suspicion. biggrin.gif

Yes. First transaction on new card must be PIN first, then only can start using wave to pay for subsequent ones.

Hi guys, have you all been experiencing late receipt of OTP whole performing transactions? Ive been facing this since yesterday. Had to switch to flight mode and back on to receive the SMS...sometimes payment time-out due to this. Sigh...we really need the "resend OTP" option at the 3DS page.
