I made 3 transactions with BP on Agoda last weekend and it was fine and all. Could it be a temporary issue?

Yea, CC acceptance is very high in Korea. I think as long as it's a retail shop, they will have a CC terminal. I haven't encountered any place that doesn't accept card, other than street and market stalls.

However, some fashion boutiques accept cash only for their discounted items. I guess you can still withdraw some cash from BP if you're short of cash.

Yes. Under "View Conversion Options", choose to use the "Bank's rate" (in this case Bigpay) then proceed with payment.

I rmb my Taobao refund into Bigpay took me a few days (not more than a week) only.

I managed to pay AA with BP yesterday. I have saved my BP card into my AirAsia Big account prior to that, and clicked on the BP tab at the final payment page, even though my saved BP card already appears under the Credit/Debit card tab. Hope this helps!

First transaction for your card? If yes, it would fail coz you need to "activate" the wave function by transacting with pin for the first time.

Not all merchants who use ipay88 gateway have problem processing payment with BigPay cards though. I've transacted at least a few and those transactions were successful.

I only saw bank login options when paying Fundsupermart via FPX, no card options there though.

I have only used BigPay once at Vietnam's airport to book for airport transfer and there was no issue with transacting through their card terminal. I did not try withdrawing from ATM though.

Tried to make payment for air ticket with BigPay on Air Busan's website but failed. The site used a payment gateway called Eximbay. After that, I used a local credit card to pay and it was successful.

Another failed transaction was at Marks & Spencer foodhall at Midvalley (Maybank terminal). Failed at first attempt but I didn't ask cashier to retry though.

OT: Yes, can buy via mySikap (JPJ's portal). Last time I had to go to JPJ to do a one-off registration to generate ID and PW for mySikap. For further info, pls visit their website

BigPayJonathan Hi, please do look into BP's OTP page for online transactions too. The sending of the OTP SMS often encounters severe delay until time out, and we would appreciate a "Resend OTP" option when this happens. Thanks!

Yea, most likely the payment gateway provider's side of things. But I believe BP can provide feedback and request improvement on this, given that BP is the payment gateway provider's client.
