But SC LFC is only rewarding 3.33% cash back.
How does this fit to your criteria?  blink.gif

They absorbs all the commission fee? Their only source of income is pretty much the RM6 withdrawal fee.
*
not really. when u spend with BP i think they do have charges on merchant which would lower down some of their cost

QUOTE(avinlim @ Jul 10 2019, 09:35 AM)
They earn merchant fees (if any)...Dunno how they get on hold on that business when just keep giving out money like boost.  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

most e-wallet or all were burning money right now

QUOTE(tohff7 @ Jul 10 2019, 10:10 AM)
It's all about big data. Just like why Grab/Uber is also burning money to subsidise your ride.

Boost and BigPay end-game is about the same - Micro-credit lending
*
yup..... spending behavior and some other information which they could use for analysis or sell to those advertiser for profit

QUOTE
Do you even know what 'cash flow' is? Hint, the word 'flow'.

And a financial business is not like a business to 'roll' cash flow. They can't suka2 use the money to loan out or invest.

Definitely loss making since inception. Like almost all tech/startup type companies.
*
QUOTE
how do u know they are able to use the users funds? i tot the funds collected must be in a trust account as BP is regulated by BNM
*
this depend on the rule and regulation BNM set for e-wallet company. like bank, there were actually taking our money to loan to others

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 10 2019, 10:13 AM)
nowadays, they don't care about profit/lost, the most important thing is to build up the value of the brand, then sell off
*
ya, branding

Yes. I paid 5% in fees to cc also breach 5 figures liao.

One thing i know from my cash advance is the cash advance is counted towards the spending used to waived off the annual fees for the premiere cards.

So, right now, every 10k i draw out from cc, i saved 500 in fees + interest 18%.
*
yes it's true actually ...... but need to have a good way to manage the amount (cause still need to pay back the CC statement due but without the fee plus a longer period given if you able to make it few day after last statement cycle)

Im a 2 weeks old Bigpay user. Do anyone have unrecorded bigpoint even though it already shown in the transaction page?
*
QUOTE(TongCN @ Jul 24 2019, 09:25 AM)
Check the status whether it is unsettle or settled

Unsettled - no points will be given Yet .
*
QUOTE(PokemonManiac @ Jul 24 2019, 11:09 AM)
It shows settled. but the point didnt seems to update to the total points there. this happened after i sync bigpay with big loyalty account.
*
i am specially go to calculate all the point earned and the total point is somehow lower than the allocated point. but well i dont care much just let it be. not my main concern

wonder how this works? consolidate all e wallet into 1 duitnow? but each e wallet have their
own system.. how they handle reload/cashback/rewards/terminals n things..  really interest to see how
our future cashless society will become. hmm.gif
*
actually the concept is quite similar to our credit card ecosystem right now.
so future it either the ewallet side would auto forward the payment to the right acquire or with an help of middle man organization (such as Visa/MasterCard and most probably it would be Paynet)

If I don't travel? Then Airasia points is useless for me right???

useful or useless it depend on how you define and use it.
u probably can use the point to help other buy air ticket and charge accordingly?
and the answer would be useful right?

yes, only for those who are really spending rather than just withdraw
good move as average that's almost 43% increase in terms of overall RM100 reload and spend get 7 Big points vs 10 Big points after 1st Sep
*
yes point earning wise it's better but it still depend how people use whether go for withdraw or spend it

it seem good to have this.

But very very disappointed when look at the rate

1,250 BIG points to 600 Mesra Points
2,000 Mesra Points to 500 BIG Points
*
QUOTE(yhtan @ Aug 30 2019, 12:38 PM)
The rate is pathetic low, each point for both side is equivalent to 1 cent. The only positive side is Mesra card can be easily redeemable at Petronas station while Bigpoint usable mainly on airasia flight.
*
the issue is the conversion rate......let's say you just make a whole circle of conversion from Big Point to Mesra then back to Big Point. u lost more than 50% of the point sweat.gif
