I checked credit note and seem not correct because they only deducted for RM 10 (2X Big member discount) - this is big member discount

Suppose they also need to give additional discount for RM2 for 1 person checked luggage and RM4 for 2 persons meal flight if using bigpay card

I just got back from China. During that past 7 days, I didn't touch a single currency note or coin. At the subway taking train, at the streetside noodle seller, at the vending machine buying a Coke, unlocking a rental bicycle off the street, at McDonald's didn't even speak to a person - just ordered and paid through a terminal. I walked out the past 7 days with ZERO cash in my pocket. I came back with a 1 yuan coin leftover from last trip cos forgot to use and no chance to use.

If you use cash, immediately the cashier knows you are either elderly or tourist. And might even grumble a bit have to look out for fake notes, handle dirty crumpled money and count.

This is a big city, smaller cities might still be catching up. But just an inevitability. It's just so convenient and makes so much sense. I don't miss carrying a wad of cash and coins AT ALL.

I have referred two persons recently and got message to upgrade to contactless card. I'm still thinking if I should do that because the card will go frozen and I'm not able to use it.

For those who have changed it, how long did it take to arrive? Like normal application timeline?

PayPass is not as popular as PayWave so I'm hesitating. After I got my PBB VS, I tend to reload more into BigPay compared to previously and have been using it quite extensively but it is quite inconvenient for me to go to cashier counter to enter my PIN.

Try to pay agoda booking via agoda app, after key in OTP, it show payment not successful, ask me pay with another card..

Change card to pay, payment straight went through without issue.. don’t bother to try again with BigPay as it is peak period stay, worry later price increase..

I think this is Agoda app only problem & not the website? I made a couple reservation in Agoda before without any issue.

I noticed points are being awarded for my settled transactions but my overall point has not been increasing for more than a week now. Something's wrong here.

How bout czech republic and hungary? As this 2 places uses different currencies instead of euro

Is it possible for BigPay to limit the choice of currencies payable when used in overseas, i.e. pay in 'local' currency?

There are occasions where the cashier would just charge it in MYR instead of local currency without even asking which currency to pay from.
And the difference is HUGE!

Anyone having trouble topping up via CC now? I'm on holiday overseas and trying to reload, but can't get onto the OTP page for any of my CCs after entering CVC.

No problem for me, topping up from down under at Malaysian time 2am, only 1 glitch but all successful transactions reflected immediately.

Then you can delete the app and choose not to use it lah. Did BP put a gun to your head and ask you to use it?

It is a very simple thing, you don’t like it then don’t use. No user then BP will either buck up or collapsed.

Like I said you don’t like then delete and don’t use lah. Your credit card cannot use? No brain keh?

If you know you are travelling to overseas then prepare it early lah. Why wait till last min? So does BP have to ask your permission first when they wanted to upgrade the app?

If you ever travel before then why wait till last minutes to top up? Can you enlighten me that your so call highly educated that wait till last minutes to top up?

Anyone who is travelling and RELYING ON topping up on the go (instead of just topping up ahead of time) is asking for trouble. This isn't even about BigPay or anything, just forward planning.
