my linked mesra card is shown in bigapp. still allow to choose for conversion.

I never linked my card before, so I was planning to do this morning but couldn’t find the option.



Nevermind, I think I will just redeem Lazada voucher RM100 for 12k points. - out of stock zzz

Anyway found my link to Petronas Mesra, anyone knows why I can't link my Mesra card to Big Points? Says invalid or not registered but when I called Mesra, they told me everything is good on their side.

I had same issue before and i figured out myself
You have to go mymesra website and verify your phone and email
Then you try convert again should be ok already

Half an hour ago I got half a dozen notifications for Steam Purchase and Steam charges to my BigPay. RM17.00 each. Straight away freeze and notify customer support. Firstly they ask if I have engaged with this merchant before (I said not through BigPay) and then they said transaction still Pending. If merchant does not make any claim on the fund, the fund will be released back to account within 10 days. If merchant does, then I have to file a dispute.

In response to my questions:-

Transaction was made 'by keying in the 3 digit CVV'. Dunno if this is main tikam or not. Definitely the physical card always in my possession. And I don't use BigPay for online transactions since 2018.

Transaction did not require OTP. When I challenge the CS that with a bank I can simply inform them that the transaction is not requested by me and they will follow up, their first line of reply "BigPay is not a Bank"

Anyway will see if it gets through la. Freeze card for now.

They are sending new card?

update:

The caller initially just wanted to confirm delivery address for replacement card. He also warned that during delivery, existing card will not be usable. (thinking back, i believe he ordered replacement card to himself).

Even I was convinced that BigPay is replacing card. So i gave back call to wife and she entertained.

But it gets weird when she passed be back the call afterward when the guy start blabbering about "maybank-linked" and asking for OTP again.

OTP incidentally start arriving as I was listening on speakerphone and only then I realised what is really happening.

Damage: had to reset PIN to regain access to Bigpay app, to find the whole balance of RM30 transferred to a "KOH", and account already suspended for fraud prevention. Redirected us to chat with agent.

Anyone used bigpay to buy something from overseas website but getting refund. How long to appear on bigpay? Yesterday already received PayPal refund notification email.
